Serve the heart; this is the way to live a vital life. Where there is the will of the heart, there is a way. When the heart is truly inspired, that's the Lord talking.

If you're not seeing Spirit from where you are in what you're doing, you're going to have to change your position - your behavior - for the results you're after.

John-Roger, DSS
When people say things meant to hurt or anger you, you don't have to fight them. You don't have to do anything. Let them have their fun. You simply direct yourself into the consciousness that you want to have.

John-Roger, DSS
One way to come into the moment is to move into meditation or prayer and hold your consciousness very, very steady. That enables you to move past the dominion of your fixations into freedom. Your prayer might be just counting to one hundred. If you are doing that as a tool to hold your mind and attention steady, it can work for you. If you tune inward to your Self as you count, you may discover many levels within yourself where you can break through many fixations.

John-Roger, DSS
For the most part, the goal of every Soul on the planet is to become a co-creator with God. In one sense, God needs us as much as we need God. We are how God gets things done on this physical-material level. He works through us in this world. The human body and consciousness are receptors for Spirit on this level; they are what the Soul uses to transport itself here.

John-Roger, DSS
Don't forget to love yourself and laugh at yourself. In the midst of the most terrible, wrenching, insidious thing inside you, laugh. That's the time you need it the most. You have to get something to counterbalance the tremendous terrible thing, and laughter starts to bring it out so it can balance out. If you don't feel like laughing, that's the time to laugh. If you've been practicing it, you can get it going.

The first focus of an initiate is our attention to God. We bring our attention into the experience we have with God's way. We have that first as an inner experience of revelation. As we have that revealed to us, we take on that responsibility. If you have a singular glimpse of a moment where the Light and energy of God is revealed - even just for an instant - you then have a responsibility for the rest of your life. You have seen and you have known in that instant. You might have a sense like, "Maybe I made that up. Maybe that was not real. Maybe I am no longer worthy. Maybe God faked me out. Maybe that was the devil masquerading. Maybe, maybe, maybe." Regardless of the conditions, we are called upon to hold and to trust in God.

John Morton, DSS
Take the time to explain to your child what you are doing and why.

John-Roger, DSS
Information can't come to a master because they've already claimed that they know. Someone who's ordinary, however, will acknowledge ignorance. Not knowing is being open to receive the information. Once you receive it, there's a good chance that you can do something with it. If you don't receive the information, you can't do anything with it, and you won't know which way to turn to make something happen. Letting go, asking inside, and a willingness to just be open will help a great deal.

John-Roger, DSS
Forgive yourself for the confusions and disturbances you've perpetrated against yourself. Resolve to take your next breath in love. Resolve to breathe in God in your next breath. You're breathing the same air that Jesus the Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Muhammad and all the other great spiritual teachers and leaders of all times breathed. With each breath you can awaken yourself to greater and greater spiritual awareness.
