The true self has its own language. Joyfulness and loving -- love in action -- are expressions of the true self. This form of loving is not to be confused with romantic love. Romantic love is conditional: we love someone for what they will do for us or give us, and once they stop giving us what we want, we withdraw our love and give it to someone else we think will fill our needs. The loving expression of the true self is giving, free, and unconditional.

Slowly, more and more people are refusing to let what is less than who they are run their lives. As they discover who they truly are, their lives take on new meaning, and they know from experience that love and joy are their natural and divine heritage.

Misery is separation and the feeling of being separated. Joy is the oneness of all. To reach the oneness, you own all aspects of living. You own the mistakes, the glory, the deceit, and the integrity. When you own it all, there is nothing you are not; you become one with God, which is all.

When you are traveling through this life and attending to your daily routine, there are times when you feel the Light radiate to you, and you say, "Oh, my God, thank you for Your blessings." You feel momentarily blissed out. That's just an inkling of the Soul you are. And the Soul is everywhere. It's in the laughter. It's in the twinkle in the eyes. It's in the touch. It's in the empathy you experience when someone else is hurting. It's in the joy you experience when someone you love is happy. It's in all of that and more.

Although the corporal form is always going to change, fall away, and decay, the Beloved sees past that, and assists us to step across the threshold of the flesh and enter into the reality that we all are. That reality is love, peace, and joy. And the living of it is to enter into the Beloved.

In the Bible, it says that God created the world and human beings, and He saw that it was very good (Genesis 1:1-31). That means that God loves it and loves us. God is maintaining us here and has also given us the ability to build and change according to our own will. You are loved just as you are right now. Get that really clear in your heart. There is nothing you have to do differently to be loved by God. Who you are is enough in itself. This is the positive inner reality, and it's the truth about you. If the way you are and the way you behave aren't joy-producing for you, then you have the right and the ability to change.

Let's live in the spirit of Light and love and happiness and joy, and let's find God within and let's find God without.

One of the great, great indicators of the sign of Spirit is joy and humor.

One of the greatest ways to break up crystallizations is laughter. Laughter expresses great joy and brings everyone to a common ground of oneness.

When we live in the Spirit, we feel joy, no matter what is going on, and I also doubt if any of us in a physical body lives in a high, ecstatic state of joy all the time. So if your level of joy is down, does that mean that something is off spiritually? No, it just means you are not feeling the joy of the Spirit.
