Give of the goodness that you are. Give of the truth that you are. Give of the Spirit that you are. The reward will be that you know those aspects of yourself more deeply and truly. The Spirit will become more alive and present for you in every moment, and you will walk hand in hand with the Beloved and know yourself and God as one.

If you promote negativity, guess what you'll have. Of course, negativity. I know many people who live a life of health, wealth, and happiness. None of them, not one, lives a life of consistently promoting negativity. Sure, you may slip here and there, and there is even an opportunity in slipping and falling down: you can get back up again. Getting back up means choosing what will support your positive prosperity, instead of giving in to the negative temptation of limitation.

If you hear people saying, "Run here, run there. Go here. Go do this," for God's sake and your own, pack up your bag and leave in the night, for they would deny you the experience of your unfolding. Often, the experience is a struggle. But the struggle is not anguish or pain. It is God revealing itself to God. It is the awakening, the moving away of those things that have become sacrosanct in our minds, in our values, and in our emotions. We're not going to give these things up because we ask, "What will I have left?" When you give it all up, what will be left? The Light behind the shadows will be all that is left. That's you. You're the Light behind all the shadows - the shadows you create for yourself, and those that you create for others.

The Soul attempts to gain experience any way it can. It attempts to use every medium to observe, identify, experience. And it may get lost in that experiencing. If you have been caught up in a facsimile through reading, films, "hero worship" or another pattern of the unconscious, it may take some time for you to step free of those patterns and feel the freedom of yourself coming forward. Hang in there with it. Let the mind energy just disperse. Don't reinforce it. Don't look for your inner experience to fit the way you read it in a book. If an author is being "truthful", he'll tell you his words are inadequate to describe his experience. Yet you will take his words as being the ultimate and limit yourself to the level of his words. That's very restrictive to yourself as the divine child of God that you are.

Imperfection lies in your attitude, which comes from the programmed mind; that's what stirs up the confusion. Sometimes if you just stop thinking for a while, things can get very nice for you. You can get so many things done because there are few problems when you are not saying "good" or "bad" to every situation. When you just say, "There it is," it's easy. Now, you don't play the fool and close your eyes to the reality of your situation. But knowing something exists, and giving energy into that, happen to be two different approaches.

When you can be aware of something and not get caught up in it, you are living in a consciousness of detachment, which can be very, very nice.

When you allow your mind to become calm, your emotions can stabilize.

Be where you are and be who you are - honestly, openly, purely.

Do your thoughts support the direction or intention of your life? Do they support moving into completeness, into joy, humor, and fulfillment? Rather than saying, "I need that chocolate cake, I need that car, I need that dress, I need that house," move into the true essence inside you, the truly aligned direction of your life. Then all those other material things can appear as a by-product, not as a focus. One of the first steps into that true essence is to be silent. In silence, intuition kicks in, and we find that God is our source. This is not the God of a little ego-personality approach, but the real God, the very thing that you are.

Do you keep resurrecting the joy of your Spirit? Do you keep allowing a space for you to regenerate yourself? If you haven't, you didn't get it. If you have, you're well on your way and you will keep transforming - and you will keep transforming. And one day, you will look at yourself in a mirror and see the one you've been looking for.
