In order to do what it takes to manage your life, you have to go to the source of strength. It is not on the outside. It is not subscribing to the latest diet fad. The last one didn't do it for you because you were putting your energy into outside cures. If you take it from the inside, you are then able to create what you really choose. You have within you the ability to create.

The Soul, the essence of God within, is responsible. Ultimately, it is the author of all your actions. So pass the authorship to where it belongs. Jesus said, "Of myself I can do nothing. The Father within does all things." The Father is the God within or the Soul or whatever term you care to use. Often we call it the Light. Jesus said that he was the Light and the Truth and the Way. Buddha said he was the Light of Asia. The Light that springs eternally is the Light of which we are speaking. It is the pure energy of Spirit.

God sees only perfection.

God is in control just so we can relax and be patient.

So many times the way out of something is to go through it and gain the greatest awareness available to you.

There is an implied directive: Do the best you can and encourage others to be the best they can around you. That means colleagues, supervisors, students, those under your supervision, friends, lovers, mates, even clerks and waiters serving you. Many people think encouragement is a verbal expression, such as, "Go for it," to be delivered with inspiring enthusiasm. That is a more obvious form of encouragement. A more powerful support is not said with the voice but is stated in the heart and manifest in attitude.

If you really want to meditate and see God, you will.

Free will happens only when you're more highly evolved, because only God has free will. So, when you make your will the same as God's, it's free. But prior to that, you do the individuality. I usually call it "won't-power" instead of will-power. "I won't do this. No, I won't do that and you can't make me." In the free choice level, you can make a lot of choices and they're all free. Whichever one you make, though, institutes the next choices that come up. And we're held responsible for them, whether we like it or not. A lot of people don't want to believe that, but all they have to do to prove it is look at their lives.

The Beloved stands with you and gives love to you.

We experience the sensual pleasures of the body thinking they will awaken our Souls; but they awaken nothing but our ego. Becoming aware of this can be terribly painful. What do I do with that pain? I sit back and I say, "Wow, look at all that emotion inside of me. It is right across my shoulder and through my right ear." I don't try to explain it away, or be rid of it. I simply observe it.
