Many times you will be placed in a "predicament" which must be solved. If you reach outward for an answer, you can sometimes get an answer that temporarily seems to assist you, but a week or a month later, you may find yourself right back in the same predicament because you did not go through it as a process of your learning. You sought a way out of it through someone or something else. It is important to reach within yourself to the source of knowledge and strength and to know for yourself what is right to do.

Suffering is pretty much somebody's subjective point of view about being deprived of something, and why they're being deprived. And this is based largely upon needs, wants, or desires. But how would we come to a unity of God unless we experienced a lot of the things we call suffering and work? And often our suffering turns us toward greater levels of behavior and understanding. If you had your finger caught in a door and had it slammed on, you suffered pain. When somebody else does it, you immediately have an understanding with them that transcends everything. It's an immediate knowing, and you may be able to assist them by saying something that is very helpful.

When someone is confused, when they're disconnected and separate from their true nature, then they will relate to themselves falsely -- as unhappy and sad and depressed and no good and unworthy and rejected. The reality of who you are is you're good, you're blessed, you're happy, you're joyous, you're true, you're whole, you're capable.

In circumstances that are about survival, keep your focus on the things that give you survival, that provide you with what you know is important -- like your next breath.

Remember that God's time, not your time, is always perfect.

Have you ever done something and then said, "What a waste?" Of course you have. But with a positive focus, you can say, "It was not a waste. That time I was wrong, next time I will be free to do it right." But if you defend your mistake, putting forth reasons and excuses, you cannot advance in life; you have nailed yourself to your mistake.

If you have established peace within your own consciousness, no one can take that from you.

Remember, the only thing you can do on the planet is the best you can. The people on the earth do it the best they can, and then they say it wasn't the best they could. And then they worry about that, because they could have done better. And if they are given another chance, they will do it the same way the second time too. And a third, and a fourth, and a fifth, and sixth. What you might say to them is, "If you could have done better, you would have done better, and you did the best you could."

If you would learn to drop the unnecessary thoughts, you would learn to drop the unnecessary weight. Remember that your body is the temple for your Soul.

Each heart awakens a little more as it trusts itself.
