You're never given anything you cannot handle. That's a spiritual law. There may be things which are difficult to handle or which you'd prefer not to handle, or which you'd like to handle better, but there is nothing given to you that you cannot handle.

Live your life the best that you can. It can be hard, even on good days, but still do it, and work the best you can and give yourself credit. And if you have flaws, fine. Just don't focus on them; work on them. If you looked only at your flaws, you probably wouldn't feel worthy to be here because you would see the errors of your behavior and the imperfections of your body. So focus on the goodness of the work you do, and then correct the flaws as you go along.

Nothing is allowed to take place unless it is a part of God's perfection.

Know that each situation and circumstance serves you as a stepping-stone into Spirit.

Acknowledge the positive changes you have made in your life. Focus on these -- and on the changes in your life and expression that you are making right now -- no matter how "small" or "insignificant" these changes might be. Don't discount them just because you can't see yourself breaking through to the "big stuff" right now -- give yourself some love and appreciation for the really beautiful person you are inside, underneath all those things you think you'd like to "change" about you.

Can you face an enemy and say, "I love you?" Especially a stubborn enemy inside you? Yes, you can, and I will tell you what happens when you do. Once you truly embrace the dark side, it turns to help you. Then you don't have stubbornness, you have determination. The darkness transformed the moment you accepted it, and all the power that was blocking you before now becomes the power of ascension, of upliftment.

Don't focus on what you haven't accomplished and don't berate yourself over what you think are your "failures." You cannot accurately know what's really going on from this level, or judge whether it's "good" or "bad." Real progression and change can be seen only from the level of Spirit. It doesn't work too well to try to "judge" or "label" your experiences from this physical level - just give yourself the love and support you need, without the judgments.

The value of each experience is in the understanding and growing.

When you are at your worst, the Lord is at his best and truly with you.

The Soul is life and gives health. Even though the mental, emotional, and physical bodies may suffer from negativity, hurt, and disease, the Soul can continually revive them and bring forth healing.
