As you learn to speak up in the moment something is going on, you may find that it becomes more and more easy to take care of yourself without moving into judgment of others or of situations. Watch your attitude; that is the key.

You have the ability, the strength, and the honesty to look clearly and openly. You have nothing to fear. Whatever reveals itself as the truth is your friend. Whatever reveals itself as the illusion, that's part of clarifying the truth. The truth that releases the illusion is your friend. To know what is true and what is not true is liberation.

If the knowledge you have received has been corrupted, you see people through your corruption. If the knowledge you have received is pure and has been refined by your experience and loving compassion, you see people through that purity. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So is godliness, loveliness, and happiness.

Remember that you are a spiritual being on the way home to God.

Touching is what opens the Spirit. When somebody gets angry and is going to be mean, just reach over and touch their hand or their back, and pretty soon their Spirit starts to open. Then you talk kind words to their Spirit. You don't bawl them out for what they did; they already feel bad. Yours is to make them feel God, and God is good.

Why on earth do you think we're allowed so many mistakes? Because God loves us. Why do you allow your children so many mistakes? You knew they had to make them. Why did you show them how to do it better? Because you knew how to correct their mistakes so they didn't have to do it over and over. If you do that to your children, then would not God do that to us?

Everyone around us is going to point the way into the kingdom of God. Some are going to speak softly and others are going to rant and rave. They may all be pointing away from themselves, but even the lie points the way to the truth. So we can look at any action we might call negative and see it as a reflector into God. For all things are designed to go to God.

You, as a human being made in the likeness of God, are gifted with the ability to make intelligent choices in your life's expression.

If you want more spirituality, you place yourself in an area or in a way where you can receive of it if it appears or if it happens. If Spirit happens, you'll be there to receive all of it.

I see so many people forgetting the fun of life. They would rather be bored and bemoan what is going on. But God is present here, now. That is something to celebrate, to be in awe of. Allow yourself to play inside, even at times when people are being serious on the outside.
