I never say, "Oh, God, take this away from me." My prayer is always, "Oh, God, give me the strength and the wisdom to utilize this." And He always has. I do not look for a way out. I look for a way over, around, through, under. It also came to me to ask myself about each situation in my life, "How do I use this? What is it for?" As I looked back at my trials and tribulations, I saw that each one had strengthened me for the next one. They strengthened me in the personality -- not spiritually, but the Spirit came through the personality stronger and stronger and stronger as I gave it up to a higher and higher force. One day I just said, "You do it, God. I don't know how." That was not copping out; it was going to the source of all things and utilizing it instead of going to the source of my own ignorance and trying to utilize that. I suffered in my own ignorance, so I went to God and became blissful. I never lost one thing. If I had to do it all over again, I would go there faster.

You can choose to be happy if you would rather be happy than miserable. And consider that happy is a choice. Are you willing to make that choice? Are you willing to let go? I know when people are miserable, and I know that when I am miserable, I am hanging on. Are you willing to let go to be happy? God is happy.

As you gain altitude in your awareness, you realize there is perfection all the time. Even time itself is a process of perfection. There is no rush or urgency. Everything occurs in a right and proper way.

You can, in a very simple way, reach into the spiritual consciousness by just saying, "Here I am, Father. I'll follow whatever direction you lead." You just let the Light and the Spirit flow in; that's the most simple way. It is also the most direct way and the most complete way. For some it may be the most difficult and frustrating way because not too many people are going to let go and let anything come in. They're going to reach out and try to yank it in, or attempt to control and create all sorts of things and then force other people into their mold. Yet you know that when other people attempt to force you into their mold and when they think they've won, you file for divorce or leave our job because you don't fit their mold.

The more fun you have, the more detached you can be from the circumstances of your life. You cease to be obsessed by money, by how you look, by how you compare with others, by your need for approval. You can still have fun in the midst of it all.

If we are to have deeper rest in our bodies, mind, and emotions and gain entry to the renewal found in the Beloved, we need to let go. For letting go is relaxing and letting God is simply being patient. In letting God it's helpful to know that God is formless. It's a disservice to yourself to limit God by seeking a form. Maintaining that limitation takes so much of your energy, because it goes against what is.

And as you relax and merge into the presence of the Beloved, you will be able to look past the inadequacies of the body, mind, and emotions and see the Beloved present in all who come to you.

Worrying is not God's idea. Relax and let God.

Often how a person will enter into a state of God is like a sense of, "Well, I don't know what I have to offer, but I'm surrendering since it's all I have. It doesn't really seem like it's worthy, but I'll give it anyway. Maybe God can find something precious in it." Then God reaches into you, pulls out the most precious thing, holds it up before you and says, "This was in you all along and this is who you are."

When you realize that God is producing all things, you start relaxing immediately.
