Before we came into this embodiment, we committed to becoming aware and to using this level as a springboard into God consciousness, leaving this land of reflected Light and entering into ultimates. If you embrace this knowing, the path of devotion is actually quite easy because you are then devoted to yourself - not in selfishness but in selflessness, not to the personality or the I of the ego but to the I of the I AM, of God.
