Search the Loving Each Day Quotes

Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.

You might say, "I don't know what I'm doing, but I do the best I can." That's important. That's you doing your part of the partnering - becoming God's partner. And when you find yourself resisting, that's for you to deal with, knowing that your choices include such things as resisting, holding back, putting on the brakes, stopping, slowing down, or letting go to find God is moving you all along at the highest rate you can go. The Mystical Traveler is working in all of that at both the slowest rate and the highest rate because it's the Traveler's nature to be with you according to what you can handle, allow and choose to create. The direction is towards the highest rate that is the highest good of all concerned.

John Morton, DSS
It's time that we followed the admonition of Jesus the Christ: to let our Light shine out to all the world. This doesn't mean going out and cramming things down people's throats like a missionary, or doing the holy man's disease ("we're right/you're wrong"). But if you split yourself, then you should have concern because you are not single in your mind and emotions, and a house divided against itself cannot stand. It will fall because you built it upon the sands of time instead of the rock of your own strength.

John-Roger, DSS
As a divine being, a Soul, you bring spiritual light and love into this world. You create a space for grace to be in your life.

Doing spiritual exercises is not sitting and waiting for God to obviously come into your field of activity and behavior. It is to go to God's activity and field of behavior. In other words, you make the effort to reach out. Then that loving, caring, and sharing of yourself with God in the spiritual form inside, and everywhere you see it physically, becomes a form of spiritual exercise.

John-Roger, DSS
Demonstrate the loving to yourself. When you eat well, you are demonstrating the loving for your body. When you exercise your body to utilize the energy better, you are also demonstrating the loving for your body. As you think positive thoughts, you are demonstrating the loving for your mind. As you do things to keep the emotions harmoniously balanced, you are demonstrating the loving for the emotions. When you start to do these things, you'll live in greater balance and joy, and other people will be attracted into that force of love.

I've had lots of experiences of moving away from the loving and moving back into the loving. Only moving back into the loving really counts. When you realize that loving is what really counts, then more and more you will be choosing loving. What we know as the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness is a unified action of God. We stand in with its celebration. As we step forward, it's a greater celebration, and as we move in loving it increases the celebration. And really, no matter what happens in the world, in the Spirit we are transcending the negativity entirely and realizing a celebration of loving which is an eternal truth.

John Morton, DSS
Whenever your mind tries to distract you with negative thoughts, or self-doubt, or comparisons with other people, just tell it: "I know you're there. You're always there. You're not going to go away. But today I'm not going to let you bother me, because I want to experience something else."

Imperfection lies in your attitude, which comes from the programmed mind; that's what stirs up the confusion. Sometimes if you just stop thinking for a while, things can get very nice for you. You can get so many things done because there are few problems when you are not saying "good" or "bad" to every situation. When you just say, "There it is," it's easy. Now, you don't play the fool and close your eyes to the reality of your situation. But knowing something exists, and giving energy into that, happen to be two different approaches.

The attitude of thankfulness stops the mind in its chatter and produces the ecstasy of the Soul. And that's hard to contain if you're not used to it. It can leave you nervous and upset. And so we must train ourselves consciously here to have more Soul impulse energy come through by praying, by meditating, by contemplation, by Soul transcendence experiences, by loving our neighbor as our-self. And practice loving God in all things.
