Perhaps you’ve written to John-Roger seeking help for a problem in your life. To begin this seminar, J-R says, “Many of the notes I receive have the same theme: I’m not getting what I want and I’m angry.”
J-R observes that many people are bothered primarily because they keep focusing on the thing that bothers them. You get the consequences of what you focus on. And, as J-R points out, focusing there doesn’t make it better. Focusing there locks the “bother” into your consciousness, giving it command of your mind. And all along, all you want is to be happy.
“In MSIA,” J-R states, “we have found the way of transcending the concept of happiness, and it’s called Joy. Let me define Joy for you…”and from that place in the seminar onward, you’ll find the way to transcend your problems and advance into a life of Joy.
