"We used to call them burrs," John-Roger says in this informative seminar. "And if you walked out in the fields, they would get on your socks and your clothing. And it's amazing how sturdy those things were! But they're not half as sturdy as unconscious thought forms."
Well, what are those sturdy thought forms anyway? They can be those ideas we pick up about ourselves from people around us, for instance; people who tell us we're bad for not doing what they want us to do. Thought forms like that can come in when we're children and can leave a trail for similar thought patterns.
J-R gives us a simple anatomy lesson as he goes along, as well as a primer in how energy is used in our bodies. And of course, he is very clear about how thought patterns hook themselves into us, why we need to pay attention to their presence, and how we can dismiss them.
