Here is one of those golden early seminars by John-Roger in which profound truths are revealed and the way forward into Spirit is made clear.
In this seminar, J-R says, “When we move toward the spiritual, it becomes a nebulous quality. What’s there? What am I going to get? What’s going to happen?” As we move along this path, J-R observes that we’re not even halfway to Spirit yet when, with these questions in mind, we begin to slow down and lose momentum. “You’ll feel a psychic magnetic pull from the habit that is strongest in you,” J-R warns. “It starts to pull you back into the world.”
OK, what to do? There are two choices: go forward into Spirit anyway and learn to live both here in the physical and there where we just ARE; or allow ourselves to be pulled back into the comfortable (really?) place where we started. J-R doesn’t judge whichever way you allow yourself to go. He does, however, point to the clear path beyond halfway consciousness.
