This seminar was given the year following John-Roger's creation of Insight Transformational Seminars (now part of the Continuing Education Division of Insight University). In it, J-R describes the benefits Insight brings to you. “Insight produces a process by which you don't necessarily change, but you transform your whole consciousness into a new level of experiencing yourself. From that experience, you will not therefore be manipulated and controlled by other people’s beliefs.”
J-R continues speaking of the benefits by saying, “Insight does not instill anything in you; it just lets you awaken to that that you are.” J-R is saying that Insight is just an accelerated version of your life as laboratory “Have you ever known anything quite so free as this planet?" he asks. "It’s a classroom and in this classroom you choose your own lessons, you choose your own learning and then that which you’ve learned is awarded to you… and that which you’ve neglected beats you in the head.”
J-R points to our inner loving as the key to learning each lesson. "In the midst of everything that is happened to you, turn to the loving. It will be amazing to you that in every negative situation resides the spirit of love. And if you want to know what that loving is, see God someday and I think you’ll find out who you are.”
