John-Roger begins his seminar this way, “Most of the information I share with people I’ve already tested so I know it works.” If you’ve been around J-R much you know his words are true. His messages have been consistent since he started teaching and he always is himself, not some made-up version of J-R.
The concept of being authentic goes to one of his themes in this seminar. He says, “The strange thing about our life as a human being is that as long as we are in denial internally and externally about the condition that we’re in and how we got there — or when we deny our mistakes — we can never do anything about it. It’s better to just say the truth.”
J-R offers a terrific method for dealing with those life events we stumble upon….something to add to your tool chest. And throughout the seminar, J-R addresses ways to handle sticky relationships, like, “Have any of you ever carried on a conversation in your mind with somebody who’s not present? ‘I told you this, then you said that, then….’ ” J-R also speaks about the value of observing and listening. “Most of the time, folks, in public or in private,” J-R says, “there is really only one fundamental thing we want to know from whomever we’re talking with and that is, am I loved?
