Are you accepting others’ opinions as the gospel of your life rather than discovering…

Product Details

This seminar was originally released as the December 2006 SAT. It has now been released into the “Personal-Use” category and is available to those not subscribed to the Soul Awareness Teachings (SAT) Series.

Are you accepting others’ opinions as the gospel of your life rather than discovering your own inner truth through experience? This is the question John-Roger poses in this seminar.

Through the story of friends diagnosed with cancer, J-R looks at the responsibility we have to claim our inner authority for healing rather than acquiescing to a medical “opinion.” Another story tells of a student of another spiritual teacher who sought J-R’s opinion of the teachings. We are admonished to check any teachings to see if they work for us, to keep what does and let the rest go; to work our lives in whatever level we find ourselves, and go to the source for information rather than seek another’s opinion. “Your knowledge should be based upon what works for you, not what is working for someone else… You are the only one that knows what is going on inside of you…you have to do it your way, you can’t do it the way of opinion.”

Eternal vigilance in communication is also the message here: “Something that can be much more devastating to us if we don’t watch, and that is the passing our opinions off as judgments of truth on someone else, and then defending that, like it is really the truth.”

God Bless You!
