This seminar was originally released as the June 2003 SAT. It has now been released into the “Personal-Use” category and is available to those not subscribed to the Soul Awareness Teachings (SAT) Series.
Recorded in 1971 at a private residence in Encino, California, this early seminar finds John-Roger walking through what he describes as the rungs of the spiritual path — truth, sacrifice, faith, creativity, intellect, will, devotion, discipline, service, love, and mastery — and showing how each one builds on the last.
He makes clear that the path runs in both directions, and that arriving at mastery is not a permanent achievement but a consciousness that must be actively maintained. Along the way he touches on the nature of free will, the difference between devotion and spiritual blackmail, and even makes a case for a healthy dose of jealousy in love.
Straightforward and grounded, this is J-R laying out the architecture of the spiritual life in plain terms.
God Bless You!
