This is a Soul Awareness Teaching (SAT) by John-Roger.

In this English/Spanish seminar, John-Roger begins with the following
explanation. “The only thing that makes anything on the planet valuable
is it’s usability. If somebody gives you something, and you can’t use it,
it has no value to you and there are no values connected with it. So you
get rid of it.”

“As soon as it starts to give you better a life, we’re in values. But we can’t
teach a better life until we can teach a good life. And we can’t teach a good
life ’till we know God the giver of life. And we can’t know God out here in
everyone, because we’re too shaped and formed in many ways so we then
have to find God inside. It’s the place where we’ve corrupted Him the least.”

Throughout tbis interesting seminar, which emanated from a question about
self-worth, J-R points to the reasons for surrendering to the God Consciousness
inside us and he offers the means to surrender. Here’s a hint. He says, “Throughout
almost all the sacred religions and scriptures, the one thing that every one of
them seems to come into agreement with, is to serve our fellow mankind and
to love other humans. And if they do that, joy seems to become the springboard
of their life. We never come up to Joy and just hold it. Because there are other
things in life that we have to relate to: bereavement, animosity, bad talk.
And so we have to learn to leave those.”

“Taking control of your life,” he continues, “and directing it starts to produce the
