John-Roger begins this way, “I want to address spiritual fascism and spiritual totalitarianism.
I am going to group both of those terms as one, because in them, one or two people tell
everyone else what to do and they are able to enforce it. ‘Itís my way or no way.’ ”
Using many examples, J-R explains, “There are going to be a lot of things in this world we arenít
going to like, from the mental, emotional, civil, political points of view. And we cannot change
them through anarchy or totalitarian approaches. We can only change them through the spiritual
freedom that we present inside of ourselves to others. It becomes contagious.”
After illustrating his theme, J-R says, “The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness is almost the
antithesis of spiritual fascism and totalitarianism. We say ‘Do your life however it works.’ You
may have to experiment around a little bit to find the way. But we don’t judge these experiments.
In MSIA, if you make a mistake we say ‘Get up and get going, you donít have time to waste with
that.’ Why? Because thereís more opportunity of Spirit coming forward all the time and that’s
because God, the pure essence giver of Spirit, is always giving it, regardless. Itís an ongoing thing.”
“The message is,” J-R says,”we are whole, complete in the Spirit. We are not whole, complete
mentally, emotionally and physically. We are in the state of making those more excellent to utilize
them in going across this planet in our spiritual perfection.”
