Early this year we were contacted by Thupten with the The Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama – a not-for-profit, non-sectarian, non-denominational organization, founded with the intention of bringing together men and women of different faiths, professions and nationalities, through a range of initiatives and mutually sustaining collaborations.
He had heard about the Spiritual Warriors film, from MSIA Minister Laura Mola on facebook, and wanted to know if he would be able to screen the film to his monthly spiritual movies club.
So Spiritual Warriors was screened in New Delhi on June 6th, 2013 … and below is a sweet letter to us from Thupten.
Dear John-Roger, Jsu Garcia and Zoe Golightly,
I am writing to thank you for your kindness in sharing your movie with New Delhi.
As you will remember, we asked to screen Spiritual Warriors here at the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and you generously mailed us the DVD at no charge, and helped us promote the screening on facebook.
So I am here to report that the screening went well and we had about 140 grateful people join our screening on June 6th at the India International Centre in Delhi.
We have monthly screenings since 4 or 5 years now. Please, as we are in the process of selecting films for 2014 now, should you have any other films for us, please let us know.
