The MSIA Elders Stories Service Project

A Celebration of Wisdom, Love, and Living Spirit.

Across the years, through countless seminars, travels, meditations, laughter, tears, and profound spiritual moments, something extraordinary has been woven together within the heart of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA).

It’s not just teachings. It’s not just events. It’s not even just community. It’s stories.

And now, we are gathering them. Yes, we want your stories.

What Is the Elders Stories Service Project?

The Service Project is a loving invitation to long-standing MSIA participants around the world to share their lived experiences — the moments that shaped you, surprised you, uplifted you, and deepened your connection to Spirit. Your moments of perseverance.

A group of DSS TL students are gathering Elders’ stories for the John-Roger Archives, preserving the living history of MSIA for generations to come.

These are the stories that:

  • Tell how you came to be part of MSIA
  • Opened your heart in unexpected ways
  • Carried you through challenging times
  • Illuminated your path of spiritual growth
  • Captured the essence of what MSIA has meant in your life

This project honors our MSIA elders — all of you who have walked this path for years (and often decades), maybe quietly holding light for others and/or maybe participated in every offering.

Why This Matters Now

Your stories are more than memories. They are a spiritual legacy, perhaps guidance for future generations, a record in the J-R Archives. Somewhere in the world, someone may be connecting into MSIA for the first time. And your story could be the one that helps them say, “Yes. This is for me.”

What We Would Love You to Share

Your contribution might include:

  • How the Traveler’s Teachings have impacted your life
  • Personal experiences with John-Roger and John Morton
  • How MSIA began in your country
  • A moment that transformed your spiritual understanding
  • An experience of grace, guidance, or inner awakening
  • A humorous, tender, or unforgettable memory
  • What has kept you walking this path
  • How did the teachings land in your heart?
  • What changed because you said “yes”?
  • How did the light spread where you live?

Whether you helped introduce MSIA to your country or witnessed its early growth there, your perspective is part of this sacred history.

A Global Tapestry of Love

MSIA has touched lives across continents, cultures, and generations. The Elders Stories Service Project is an opportunity to weave together this beautiful global tapestry — honoring the past while inspiring the future.

Imagine a collection of voices from around the world, each one reflecting light in its own way.

That’s what we’re creating. Together.

How to Participate

If you feel the gentle nudge in your heart…

If memories of J-R, John Morton, or your early MSIA days are rising to the surface…

If you’re remembering how it all began where you live…

We would love to connect with you.

Please email Frankie Cardamone: msiastories@gmail.com

Reach out for more information or to participate. We will respond as quickly as we can with next steps.

We ask you to pass the word as not everyone reads or has access to the NDH. And, if you are willing, connect us with them the best way that works for anyone who wants to share their stories.

And if you are interested in being on the Service Project Team there are a variety of roles such as: helping gather stories, conducting interviews, transcription editors, organize in your community anywhere in the world.

Your Story Is a Gift

In MSIA, we often speak about loving, serving, and remembering who we are.

This project is one more beautiful way to live that.

We want your stories the way you want to share them.

Your story is a gift — to yourself, to this community, and to those who are yet to come.

Let’s preserve the wisdom.
Let’s celebrate the journey.
Let’s honor J-R and the unfolding of MSIA around the world.
Let’s share the LIGHT.

We can’t wait to hear from you.

  1. I remember I was taking a Course in Miracles class in the fall/winter of 1987. One night I came to class and there were only a half-dozen or so or us there. I asked where is everyone? The instructor explained that those absent were taking a 3-evening, 2 full-day workshop called Insight and would be back the next week. Being the curious person I am, I couldn’t hardly wait for the next class. From the heartfelt sharings that occurred the next week, I signed up there and then to take the next Insight in February of 1988. Saying it was a life-changing, heart-opening experience hardly covers it. I took Insight II in Chicago inlate April that year and met Cleora at the graduation ceremony. She told me about MSIA and weekly seminars at her home. I started going to those, got on discourses and did Insight III on the shores of Lake Michigan in the Fall of 1988, the year I turned 40. What a year! And it continues :o)
