New, photo slideshow including photos of John-Roger from the Saturday night dinner and entertainment has been added.

“Go within, there is a within to go to.”
– Pauli Sanderson

Oh boy, more J-R stories from Pauli Sanderson! This is the most unique of workshops. The facilitator continued to share her stories about her personal experiences with John-Roger and the earliest days of MSIA. This one is going to be hard to top. Pauli is an excellent storyteller and the experiences that she shared with J-R were vivid and compelling.

The most important thing that she wanted us to know was that these incidents in her life could be instructive for us as well. J-R’s ‘Life Lessons’ for one person are instructive for all of us and future generations as well. It is the Wayshower in action. Pauli’s experience of frustration at the break down of the Gestetner mimeograph machine could have happened to any of us, and J-R’s take on how to deal with it, “call the company and get it fixed” is the ultimate expression of what needs to happen when we are frustrated, that is ‘handle it’. Practical spirituality.

Pauli also shared some personal insights with bite sized wisdom, “Go within, there is a within to go to” or “Heaven is here and J-R has shown it to us.” Now not only do we have J-R and John Morton quotes we have Pauli quotes as well.

The day’s lessons were punctuated with rejuvenation exercises led by Alisha Hayes who led us in one her classic ‘Soul Dance’. Her back up dancers included husband Michael and everyone got into the act of getting the body moving and the blood pumping.

Pauli’s presentation was punctuated again by John Morton. After collecting $21,000 on Friday from the art that was auctioned off, John had the products assistants hand out a variety of MSIA themed merchandise. Everyone who chose to, shared in the largesse.

One of the most uplifting presentations came when the Insight teens shared with us about their coming trip to Africa. The teens, who have their own young fellow named John Morton — yes, his name really is John Morton too — have raised enough money for all those interested in making the trip. There is more money to be raised however, in order to accomplish the work that they hope to complete while there.

The Saturday workshop would not be complete without the traditional dinner and entertainment. Joey Hubbard flew in all the way from Bulgaria to call in the Light for us in his most unique way. If you weren’t there you really missed it. The hotel staff by now know us well and were easily able to accommodate our requests for no onions, garlic or pork. Beef or fish was the fare followed by a fruit tart desert.

The entertainment turned out to be a battle of the bands as one group after another showcased their talents. Mark Samuel and John Morgan played their part as ‘session’ musicians sitting in with several groups. The rockers were followed by comics, an opera duet and Sally Kirkland’s classic reading of J-R quotes.

Here’s the Saturday night dinner and entertainment slideshow:

It was a full and very satisfying day and conclusion to The Wayshower Workshop. And, there is more tomorrow…..
