John Morton, Spiritual Director of MSIA, Shares the Blessings of Spirit in a Second Seminar at Prana

The second in a series of up close and personal seminars at Prana, the Home of the Traveler, with beloved Spiritual Director of MSIA, John Morton, took place on Friday evening, June 29. The historic rooms were filled with eager participants and the airwaves hummed with over 200 viewers worldwide, represented by 10 countries and 25 U.S. states.

Prana’s very own Kevin McMillan served as Master of Ceremonies, and in his warm and fun-loving style, he introduced some original musical and poetry contributions before John spoke. Liz Bagish led this segment off on vocals and cello with her “Everything is OK.” Then Merrill Collins on piano and Alethea Lamb on clarinet, doing Merrill’s “Within You,” Eric Lumiere’s “I Built a Bridge for You,” and finally Beth Hinman recited her poem, “Satsang.” This sequence of heart-opening strains paved the way for Kevin to introduce John as a dear friend, a teacher, a proponent of worldwide peace, and so much more.

John had important responses to questions as he counseled us about loving and blessings. Sharing his own personal experiences of how Spirit works in his consciousness, he was sweet, funny, and inviting, and very aware of engaging with the folks in the room and those on the internet.

As I observed my own experience of watching John share with us, I found myself tracking his message while my heart opened to the lessons at hand. And the urge to serve and provide a sacred place and space for more intimate meetings with the Traveler and genuine exchange of loving once again came to the forefront.

So please join us for the next date with John at the Home of the Traveler: Friday July 20, 7:30pm PDT (Spanish translation will be provided). Then Wednesday July 25, John will be hosted by the Spanish-speaking community with English/Spanish translation from the stage.
