A Blessings Fest Indeed — July 9, 2012

MSIA’s 2012 Conference of One Accord came to a sublime crescendo on Monday, holding a Blessings Fest at Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens. John Morton, MSIA’s Spiritual Director, facilitated the event, with ample support from Michael Hayes. John Roger, founder and Spiritual Advisor of MSIA, was not physically present, yet his loving and consciousness blanketed the event like a soothing balm to the heart and to the Spirit.

As in past years, the post conference Blessings Fest was lovingly organized by Jean Zero, Administrative Dean of PTS, and Lawrence and Janet Caminite. The theme of the event had an Asian flair, including cranes in the table decorations. For centuries, cranes have been revered in Korea, China and Japan, noted for their qualities of health, longevity, purity, and cleanliness, and as far as blessings go, who wouldn’t want more of those?
Baruch Bashan (which means, the blessings already are)

Each year I’ve worked on NOW Productions crew at the Blessings Fest, I’m inspired by how John Morton gives his time and energy to every blessing request, no matter how many and how long, with such loving and grace. Thanks John! You’re a true Spiritual Warrior,
Deborah Martinez
