Soul Transcendence Event with John Morton in Kauai

The MSIA community in Kauai played host to a magical event on June 23, 2012. John Morton and Leigh Taylor-Young graced over 30 attendees with a wonderfully open, eloquent and casual presentation of the teachings of the Traveler.

Those in attendance were impressed by John’s simple, poignant messages such as: finding the divine for each of us is a personal journey, and we are our own guru.

A question from one audience member about not achieving spiritual goals held an important lesson for everyone. In response, John reminded us that we need to surrender our attachment to our goal so we do not block the divine wisdom we hold within ourselves.

For me, the night was spectacular. John and Leigh were in great spirits after what John referred to as a vigorous five hour ride in a “washing machine”, along the incredibly beautiful Na Pali Coast. The backdrop for the evening was a magnificent home in the upper Princeville area. We were surrounded by great gardens, jungle and mountains. A magnificent double rainbow appeared to usher in the event. The food was fantastic and everyone had a really great time, mingling and taking in the wonderful energy of the Traveler.

The ministers all pitched in for the clean-up, and our glow was palpable. Never have I done an event that called so precisely on my specific abilities and provided support in such a profound way. Each of the Kauai ministers had stepped in fully, helping to prepare my house for the minister’s brunch and the oceanfront condo for their arrival, setting-up food and registration.
One minister even stayed the night, so she could be up at dawn, and at a blistering pace, chopping, dicing and assembling food for our morning meal.

We were soon joined by the other ministers who came early and assisted with the final assembly, culminating in a flurry of activity. With a graceful full minute to spare, we called in the Light, and anchored together, as one, wholly loving our capacity to be moved so completely, and be so divinely guided by Spirit and our love for John Morton, for Leigh, and for the opportunity to be in the presence of the Traveler. It felt as though I had spent my entire life preparing for just this moment, and I felt complete.

While we all dined with John and Leigh, our son Jake took John’s son Zane for his first surfing and stand-up paddling experience, which was highly successful. Back at our home, we enjoyed the gift of being in John and Leigh’s company, savoring their wisdom, hearing about their international experiences, and sipping our delicious home roasted coffee.

After a beautiful brunch, Jake and Zane met John and Leigh along the way with a grand farewell, with hugs all around, and sent them off with a liter of coconut water poured fresh from coconuts carried back from their adventure in the wilds of Kauai.

All who helped unanimously agree, it will be an honor and a pleasure to again host the Traveler.
