July 10, 2010
The Living the Spiritual Principles of Health & Well-Being workshop and book signing was held at the elegant 3 West Club in New York City. As usual this event was a delightful opportunity for much of the East coast MSIA community to come together, a blessing of time spent with J-R amid his teachings, and an invitation for each of us to move into greater loving. Paul Kaye led the workshop interweaving information, humorous examples, and self-reflective exercises for the participants, and of course, lots of loving. The workshop was a tantalizing peek into some of the high points of J-R’s and Paul Kaye’s new book Living the Spiritual Principles of Health & Well-Being. After the workshop and a brief Q&A with J-R, Paul and Jsu, hors d’oeuvres were served while J-R & Paul signed books.
With a robust energy lifting the Republican Ladies´ Club to new heights today at the 3 West 51 Club in Manhattan, about 200 of us were treated to a workshop and book signing that featured John-Roger and Paul Kaye’s new book. Paul led the group in his usual articulate and humor-tinged manner through casual but informative exercises that focused on J-R’s health-related teachings. While each person responded differently, the underlying “prescription” throughout was to apply forgiveness and promote loving. The resulting profound exchange of tenderness motivated me to immediately honor a promise that will result in strengthening my own health.
Love and Light,
J-R and Paul Kaye’s new book, Living the Spiritual Principles of Health and Well-Being was the focus of the workshop and book/DVD signing on July 10 at the 3 West Club in New York City. More than 200 MSIA folks, their relatives and friends participated. Paul humorously led the group through partner processes, Jsu helped to moderate, and J-R answered many questions.
Some of us remember Baraka, an alternative healing center that was part of MSIA in the late 1970s early 80s. J-R gave seminars there on health topics and, Paul said, much of the information from those seminars is presented in this book.
We were reminded that to a great extent, we create our lives by the thoughts and feelings to which we give energy. Some of the keys to creating health and well-being that Paul and J-R shared with us were:
• Keep in your mind pictures of what you want more of. So often, people picture how they don’t want things to be.
• Negative self messages and attitudes (such as low self worth) undermine health, whereas a positive focus can strengthen the immune system and reverse disease processes. Try looking into your eyes in the mirror at the end of the day and saying, “We did the best we could.”
• It’s necessary to engage with the Basic Self, find out what it wants, and give it direction and rewards. It’s essential to have its support.
Many of us are dealing with conditions of ageing, and ultimately, we will all have to leave the planet. How to age gracefully? Paul suggested that smiling takes off 20 years!
Love and Light,
It was very nice seeing you all again in New York with my Love – John-Roger.
My friends and I came from Maryland and Virginia through the rain, traffic, etc., to be physically present to Living the Spiritual Principles of Health and Well-Being and the book signing. We knew that this was where we wanted to be.
Spirit knows where to send John-Roger and staff. The staff was right there loving and supporting all that was going on.
And, I’m so thankful for each person who shared their Light and assisted in making it possible.
I was enjoying noticing so much love being sent to John-Roger, Paul
Kaye, Jsu Garcia, and Zoe Golightly.
Such long lines to purchase the books as well as a long line for the
signing of the books.
Such blessings to partake of such a Light Filled event. I’m so grateful.
