It was everything they said it would be — and more!! There were hats everywhere, worn by some of the nicest people around, and all dressed in their summery best. There were hats hanging from the umbrellas, which were part of the Silent Auction on behalf of the Institute for Individual and World Peace (IIWP). In truth, it was a beautiful day (not too hot, not too breezy), the food was simply divine (fresh salads, cold cuts, fresh fruit, tasty desserts), and one could not have asked for a more picturesque, park-like setting overlooking the great blue Pacific Ocean.
