PTS “Coming Home Workshop” at MSIA’s Conference 2002

Article imageI found this year’s PTS workshop “Coming Home” a beautiful and profound experience of enjoying being the child of God that I am, but sometimes forget. The Sheraton Universal Hotel’s Grand Ballroom was filled to the maximum with participants, so many that we had to have an overflow room. My fellow prodigal sons and daughters found our ways back home to the Father who welcomed us with loving open arms. Through two days of dyad processes, we moved through our judgments of ourselves and others to find the acceptance, peace and joy that awaits us in our Souls.

We laughed, we cried, we cleared, and we sang. Actually, lots of us sang with the joy of our Spirit including a group rendition of “Dixie.” All as part of using everything for out upliftment, learning and growth. We found that the way home to the Father, though not always an easy road to travel because after all, life is like that, is always a joyous one!

John Morton and J-R led the workshop. John was in his finest, friendliest and funniest facilitator style. Seeing that J-R felt under the weather Friday morning, with his hands on J-R’s shoulders, John asked us to seed for J-R’s health. The abundance of seeds immediately given on J-R’s behalf were then used to give away tapes, CD’s and clothing free!

As the workshop progressed, J-R and John answered our calls with love, strength and their best humor.

The workshop was hosted by the radiant Rachael Morgan. Both J-R and John honored our beloved Pauli Sanderson for her vision, creativity and expertise in putting together the workshop experiences that helped us remember our way home. Justin Jayne provided sparkling commercial breaks by promoting products exuberantly. Our loving and devoted NOW Productions staff stayed up until 2:00 a.m. on Friday night to fix problems with the sound system. On Saturday, the sound was perfect and NOW continued to serve us without a glitch. The cooperative spirit of everyone brought forward a bounty of blessings for us all.

Our dinner celebration included 34 talented MSIAers who sang, danced, read poetry, and told jokes making us laugh and clap until I couldn’t move anymore. The very appreciative crowd bestowed a number of standing ovations.

I heard that while I was already tucked in enjoying my night travels, some folks were still filled with energy and danced the night away. Either way, it was a magnificent, joy-filled way to continue our adventures in coming home.
