The Representatives Meeting for the organizations founded by John-Roger started off with coffee and tea service at 8:45 a.m. — such a civilized approach to the day, and one of things I have come to appreciate about these meetings.

The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA), Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy (PTS), University of Santa Monica (USM), J-R Library and Archives, Insight Seminars, Heartfelt Foundation, Peace Labyrinth and Gardens, The Institute for Individual and World Peace (IIWP), and MSIA Reach were fully represented by many beautiful faces from all over the world.

Our moderator, David Bransky, called us forward into the Light (a form of spiritual invocation), led us in chanting the Ani-Hu (an ancient name for God combined with a word that invokes empathy), and then introduced Paul Kaye, who gave an update on behalf of the MSIA presidency. Paul was at his jovial best, speaking about construction at Prana West, the Spiritual Spa Days held at Peace Labyrinth & Gardens, and the monthly webcasts with John Morton which are becoming themed workshops. Then we watched a short video clip entitled “Peace Is Present,” with a voice-over excerpt by John-Roger.

Soon David Bransky had us gather into small groups for some fun! In these groups we discussed and demonstrated juggling (literally) the many projects and activities we are involved with as representatives and volunteers, and how to best reach out for support. David also read for us a hilarious list of “The Top Ten Things One Might Not Want to Share with Someone New to MSIA.”

This was followed by a networking break featuring cookies baked fresh in Prana’s own kitchens by head chefs Claudie and Guillaume Bott
