From Adeline Roberts:
The Volunteers Meeting was an informal meeting for volunteers and Reps from around Australia, and was held in Sydney on March 9. Wendy Bennett called us forward into the Light, followed by each State’s MSIA Representative. They gave us a brief update on all the activities and events in their state. All this included PTS classes, Seminars, and anything else that they thought would interest us.

Then Wendy introduced John Morton, our Beloved Traveler. John opened up the meeting for questions and answers. I found John’s answers to be inspiring, uplifting and informative. It was a great opportunity to have the Traveler available to us, to assist us in being of greater service to ourselves and our community. I know I walked away from the meeting with more ideas on what I can do to assist my community in Melbourne.

From Marina Shilo:
The evening of the Sydney Loving Relationships workshop started with the assisting team getting the room ready. With lots of laughter and singing of songs, this service was a joy to share in. And then the people arrived to attend the workshop. Oh my goodness… so many of them… all eager and full of excited expectation! We kept adding extra chairs in the room, until everyone in the foyer was finally seated, all 142 of them. There was such a diverse range of people; the oldest person was 92 and the youngest just a few months old. And I even talked to someone from Denmark! Lots of new folks.

It was a grand night! We listened to John talk about our most important loving relationships, relaxed into a delicious closed-eye process, and had our questions answered at the end of the workshop. Truly an evening shared with Loved Ones. Thank you, John and MSIA Staff, for giving of yourselves and spending such precious time with us.

From Marina Shilo:
The whole Australian tour was an amazingly generous gift and a blessing to us. From the day that John Morton and MSIA staff joined us in Melbourne and then Adelaide, to the lunch on Sunday in Sydney, this tour was opening our hearts and minds.

The Invitation to the Christ Within workshop on Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11, was gently stirring and infinitely moving: I’ve not even begun to “digest” the half of it! There is within me this HUge internal shift, and I am only just starting to discover the external effects of this.

The Ministers and Initiates meeting on Sunday 12 March in Sydney was an AWEsome event! At 9:00 in the morning people started gathering in the hotel foyer, glad to see each other and catching up on what has been happening in their daily lives. Some had arranged to have breakfast together, and the dining area was buzzing with happiness and laughter.

When the meeting started at 10:00 a.m., a peace-filled hush covered the room as we chanted Ani Hu and then joined in silent Spiritual Exercises. Angel Gibson, Cleora Daily, Vincent Dupont, Paul Kaye and John Morton were presented with tokens of our appreciation in the form of gifts. Paul talked about some serious matters in a not-so-serious way, that at times had us holding our sides from belly-laughter. And two of our dedicated ministers received this year’s Service Awards, Joanne Barrett and Elaine Pittwood. They received our loving thanks for their outstanding service. Julie Chenery brought silent calm back into the room by playing for us on her harp.

John Morton was invited to speak next. The following is my understanding and recollection of what John shared with us. John reminded us of what is asked of us as Initiates and Ministers. He spoke not only of mundane matters such as administration and renewal, but also of internal intention and commitment — internal strengthening and renewal of our initiation and ministry. John spoke to us of how we read our Discourses, of loving and taking care of our brothers and sisters, of fulfillment of the Word, of the Traveler and Christ Consciousness, and of many many more things than I can consciously remember. I hold them in my Heart. His words brought sweet Love and Peace into the room. They brought a vibration of Grace-filled surrender and joyous communion. Loving energy embraced and filled our hearts and minds, and Spirit moved amongst us.

I am aware of a wordless gratitude to God for the living example of love, service, acceptance, and patience that John and MSIA staff are giving to us. They are beautiful. And we are deeply thankful. I love you so very much. All my Love and Light to you.
