On September 21-23, Ministers from British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Pennsylvania converged on the village of Grand Valley Ontario either just to be in retreat with a group of MSIA Ministers, or specifically to take the opportunity to explore the blessing of their Ministries. Either way it was a delightful way to spend time with the Travelers — the one within each of us, and with J-R and John Morton in Spirit.
It was a joyful time. Over the weekend, we collectively went down a path of discovery. One a physical journey to get to Toad Hall, the facility where the retreat took place. And the other, a Spiritual journey into both the meaning of our Ministerial blessings, and the blessing of our Ministries.
It was hard work, well maybe not so hard, but certainly joyful work. There was an exposure to the Teachings not just through the active sessions of the retreat, but also through a variety of products made available for further study.
Of course there was also an exposure to how much we can grow from a meeting of Ministers — in part from camaraderie, and in part from the great food made available by the Toronto organizers, and our gracious host, Bryn Waern. But most importantly perhaps from just being part of the Ministerial Body of MSIA.
