On the Road with the MSIA Travel Staff and John Morton in South America — Days 11 – 15

Article image MSIA travel staff is currently in South America, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update from the trip:

DAY 11 — SANTIAGO

Today we all start off at high-speed. Vincent goes to set up sound for both the morning’s BlessingsFest and for this evening’s Power Within You workshop. Celia and I go to do initiations. Ah, the first Blessing of the day is that we find out that we don’t have to change seminar rooms tonight, AND the BlessingsFest room is on the same floor as the seminar room. This makes Vincent’s job just a little easier. John soon joins Vincent for Santiago’s first BlessingsFest, and then we ladies begin Services.

This hotel is really humming. Christina Echevarri has done a lovely job, with assistance of Veronica Zarate, creating a beautiful brunch table for the BlessingsFest participants. Starting at 10AM John begins this feast of Blessings and it goes until 5PM. Vincent runs in and out of the BlessingsFest as he oversees Nigel and Helio Molecker who are assisting him to set up the audio/video equipment for tonight’s workshop and tomorrow night’s Ministers and Initiates seminar. Services end in time to fit in another hour of initiations. I have just enough time for a little cafecita and to listen to glowing reports of the Blessings that overflowed as some of the BlessingsFest participants were in the cafe. At least their bodies were…the rest of them seemed to be flying somewhere on top of the Santiago Andes mountains.. and then we all meet at 7:30PM for the beginning of the workshop.

The room is very full and John begins another first — the first evening workshop version of the Power Within You webclass. Ana Maria Corvalan welcomes the group. Arle Molecker presents one of her poems as part of the program. Ina Christina Carbajal, who is still in town from facilitating the PAT 1, is translating tonight. Her warm and focused style harmonizes well with John to create an easy, loving and powerful presentation.

We end our day having dinner nearby at the Ritz, celebrating Jose Caraball’s true birthday. My, my, this has been a chock-full day with another one on its way tomorrow.

DAY 12 — SANTIAGO

We start off again with another round of initiations, and then all hands on deck for Services. Today I go with Ani to Gloria Jury’s clinic to do Services. The clinic is set up in a house giving it a cozy but professional atmosphere. Gloria’s clinic specializes in assisting people with eating disorders and offers a well-rounded support system with different modalities, such as nutrition, psychological assistance, massage, and yoga, just to name a few of them. We are treated to a superb lunch of fresh vegetables, chicken, delicious juices, herbal infusions and fruits. I manage to take a bit of a walk in the neighborhood. The temperature is very warm but there is still snow atop the mountains that are in view towering over the city.

After Services Ani and I are driven back to the hotel by Sonia in time for a quick refresher and then it’s time for ordinations. Miriam Lahsen, the MC for this evening, welcomes our group of Ministers and Initiates. She introduces Arle again to read a poem, Leanna Sharp sings an original song, and then Ina and John take the stage for Traveler time with the Santiago and Chilean Ministerial and Initiates family. By the end of the seminar we are so filled our hairs are vibrating. John bids the group “A Dios!” and we have another pack up to do for tomorrow we leave for Buenos Aires. Our love and thanks and embracitos we send to Veronica, Ana Maria Corvalan, Olga Sapiains, Eugenia Sanhuenza, Reymi Urrich, Gloria Jury and many, many others for making this the smoothest trip ever to Chile. God bless you.

DAY 13 – SANTIAGO TO BUENOS AIRES

Yippee! I love going to Buenos Aires. For me it’s a city that is a combination of Rome, Paris, Madrid and a little Washington, D.C. and L.A. Elsa Valenzuela, Cate Kirby, and Julio are at the airport to greet us. Amazingly enough we just glide through customs and are soon on our way into town. We arrive at our hotel near the Recoleta and quickly drop our luggage in our rooms so that we can be off on foot to a restaurant that we had enjoyed in the past. Walking in Buenos Aires is a treat for the eyes as the architecture is so varied, and the stores so wonderful to gaze into. By the time dinner is served we are this side of voracious. My steak is delicious, and there are platters of fried sweet potatoes, regular fries, grilled vegetables, grilled provolone that keep coming round by me. We finish off by tasting a round of desserts that include some kind of “death by chocolate” offering, and a coffee ice cream drink and the dulce de leche specialty crepe. Thank goodness we get to walk back and walk off some of this. My room is a haven, the bed so comfortable. I do a little email and then sleep claims me.

DAY 14 – BUENOS AIRES

We’re jammin’ today, starting off early with initiations and then into a full day of Services. Elsa has asked John if he’d do an impromptu BlessingsFest. He counters with a “build it and he will come” type of response, and so she has risen to the countering. So far she has 8 people who have accepted and now she is into all the preparations. As the hours go by we see and embrace our friends from around Argentina and Uruguay. After Services there are initiations to do into the late evening. Claudia Segura has invited us to join her for a late dinner, and we are always happy to join Claudia who is a bright, shining being. Vincent, Nora Valenzuela and I head off in a taxi to join John, Ani, Ina and Claudia at Sotto Voce in Puerta Madura (I think this is how you spell it). We light up when we see Claudia who embraces us and quickly gets us with the program of dinner. We do a few rounds with the chef of finding onion and garlic in our food, but all is fine with dessert which is plentiful. Lots of laughs keep us going along with the food, and then we cab it back to the hotel. It’s after midnight and we still have our emails to visit with.

DAY 15 – BUENOS AIRES

Vincent has double duty again today — setting up the sound for both a late morning BlessingsFest and an evening workshop. Roberto Brenlla, Fabian and several others are Vincent’s right hand assistants setting up the workshop room. Elsa has been busy as more participants have come in to join John. Meanwhile, Services are going full steam with Irene Baumler and her brother, Carlos, directing the steady flow of people coming and going for Services and initiations throughout the day.

We staff take a breather for lunch and then dive back into the day’s activities. Ina is translating through the whole BlessingsFest with John which ends sometime after 4pm. Then it’s ordinations at 6:30pm, a wedding blessing at 7:00pm and the Living Love workshop at 7:30pm. Luis Sabbi welcomes the group and introduces Miguel Mitre who sings an original song to the Traveler. John and Nora (Valenzuela) take the stage and bring to the group over and over again the most beautiful opportunities to give and receive of the font of Living Love. As the evening ends we staff are veritable mush balls having just enough juice to pack up the equipment. Blessings to Lesley who masterminded getting us freshly made vegetable soup, fries and grilled chicken that was hot and ready for us as the pack-up was completed. We are so grateful to the fabulous team of assistants that was spearheaded by Elsa…what a marvelous crew. It’s midnight when we’re in our rooms, checking emails and packing. Tomorrow we will go to Rio de Janiero. Ciao for now!
