Thanks to John Morton, Spiritual Director of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA), and the entire MSIA Webcast Team, our “Gratitude, A Great Attitude” Webclass on November 14, 2007 marked over six years that we have been enjoying free monthly webcasts! From Alaska to Nigeria, from Argentina to Boston, from Santa Monica to Andorra, we sang and danced our heartfelt songs of thankfulness in an evening filled with peace, joy and above all love. As we explored keys to gratitude, John reminded us that gratitude starts right where we are with our next breath — in the giving and receiving of all the Lord provides. How blessed we are!

Thanks to our MC, Alexandra Roberts, our evening began with Alexandra’s beautiful invocation as we called ourselves forward into the Light of God. We chanted the Ani Hu, an ancient name for God, in harmony and with empathy for one another. Alexandra reminded us of the founding principles of MSIA: Out of God comes all things, God loves all of Its creation, and Not one Soul will be lost.

Thanks to MSIA Founder, Dr. John-Roger, MSIA teaches us that our primary relationship is with our Soul. Thanks also to John-Roger, Peace Theological Seminary (PTS) provides classes around the world, helping us increase our awareness of our divinity so we can further know ourselves as one with God.

Thanks to Denise and Eric Lumiere, we enjoyed a delightful mother-son duet called, “Thank You for Being,” with Eric accompanying on acoustic guitar. Thanks to Paul Kaye, President of MSIA and a.k.a. Lord Tithington, we enjoyed the latest episode of God Is Your Partner Television, a series of true stories exemplifying the Spiritual Principles of Abundance and Prosperity through Tithing and Seeding.

Thanks to Jsu Garcia, co-creator of Spiritual Warriors the movie, we learned that “Spiritual Warriors” just premiered in Calgary. Upcoming premieres are scheduled for Cairo, Egypt and numerous cities throughout South America and the United States. Jsu gave his heartfelt thanks to MSIA communities around the world who have been supporting steadily the expansion of the premieres of “Spiritual Warriors.” In a beautiful sign of abundance, prosperity and gratitude, a week of nightly FREE screenings are scheduled at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills, November 19-25, 2007, at 7:00PM & 10:00PM daily.

Thanks to NOW Productions, two Moments of Peace provided touching, enlightening and humorous reminders of the importance of having positive thoughts and bringing the Light to wherever it is needed. Thanks to the John-Roger and NOW Productions, we enjoyed several excerpts from John-Roger’s past seminars reminding us that gratitude is about claiming the blessings that already are. As we use everything for our learning, upliftment and growth, one of the ground rules of PTS classes, we discover there is always a balancing action in every experience. We are always blessed with opportunities for finding our compassion, and it starts first right here with our compassion for ourselves.

Thanks to those who help create our PTS classes, we discovered five Keys to Gratitude:
1. Observe, look around and find something of value, which could be your next breath
2. Handle your completions
3. Love it all
4. Enjoy living in the present moment
5. Look for the blessings in your challenges.
John added that another key is to simply decide to be grateful at any given moment. It is our choice to move into an attitude of gratitude. So, give thanks.

Thanks to our dyad partners, who are always first within, we moved into a powerful yet tender exploration of our attitudes of gratitude and how we can give and receive more fully. Thanks to John’s profound attunement with Spirit and his soothing voice, we moved into a deeper awareness of the gratitude in not one, but two, guided meditations for opening our hearts more fully in thanks-giving and receiving.

Thanks to our spiritual family around the world and our brothers and sisters in the room in Santa Monica, John answered timely questions about how to have a greater attitude of gratitude. We learned that frustration is a choice that we can change at any moment. John reminded us that what we resist may often be exactly what we need to experience to learn and grow. So be supportive of ourselves in our choices. As we accept and cooperate, we increase our learning. John encouraged us to trust, forgive and embrace here and now. Ask for help inside, John suggested, because that is where you will find it.

Thanks to John Morton’s first book, “The Blessings Already Are,” here are some words of gratitude and inspiration for discovering the blessings. Thanks to the MSIA online store, “The Blessings Already Are” is available right now at the discounted price of $15.00:

If you are going to partake fully in the blessings, then trusting is essential. You can trust that the conditions in your life right now are on the straight and narrow, rather than thinking, “Oh, I made a big mistake,” or “This cannot be on my path,” or “This cannot be God’s blessing manifesting.” The blessing comes when you accept, enjoy, and appreciate all conditions as somehow part of the great perfection for you on your path of awareness toward God. It is a great day when you have overcome your fears, your conditions, and live instead in the unconditioned state of divine loving.
– John Morton

Thanks to John and his beloved book team, we enjoyed a glimpse of John’s beautiful new book coming out in Spring 2008 entitled, “You Are the Blessings: Meditations and Reflections on Life, God and Us.” As our evening came to a close, John encouraged us to celebrate for we are those who love one another. We give our thanks freely as we discover more and more that we are the blessings.
