Gratitude and Celebration

Article imageIn today’s fragile world, we are being pulled in so many directions. Our employers, our families, our communities, our goals—all requiring us to be multi-tasking, self-focused, tireless, successful. Sometimes it’s all we can do, to hold our lives together; and there’s not much left to focus on others.

This is why we are so very grateful for every bit of time, money, gifts, support, and good wishes you’ve given to the Heartfelt Foundation. Your willingness to step out of the endless cycle of life-involvement and choose to assist others, enabled us to seek out and reach more than 25,000 people that might have been overlooked in the depths of their loneliness and deprivation.

You know, we might not be able to change someone’s circumstances by the food, clothes or material items we give them. But we can fill them with so much unconditional loving, caring and brotherhood that their hearts become healed. And then their lives lift and change as a result! That is the miracle of Heartfelt. That is why our mission statement is:

“Changing people’s lives through the healing power of heartfelt service.”

This year we celebrate Heartfelt’s 25th anniversary! We are proud of the fact that we’re still here. We are grateful for the partnership we share with you and many who make it possible to still be here. And we are in awe that there are hundreds of thousands of men, women and children around this blessed planet that we have managed to touch with our loving.

This August and September will find Heartfelt working to help low income and disadvantaged children around the country through our Back to School service projects. I’m asking you, who share and support our vision, for your assistance and participation with any projects in your area, so that we can help as many children as possible prepare for their school year.

Lastly, do keep holding the prayer in your hearts that we may continue heartfelt service wherever we are led in the years to come. Thank you.

In loving and gratitude,
Patti Rayner
Executive Director
