Prayer for Living In Grace and a BlessingsFest

Father Mother God.
My name is Rochelle and I call myself forward in to the Light of the Christ.
This is my first Living In Grace (LIG) and I don’t know what to expect.
God bless the Qld MSIA Community for setting the intention.
God bless the MSIA Community for holding the completed vision.
I think Roslyn George, Denise Hamilton and Elaine Pittwood need special mention for their pioneering and organising of this special event. There are so many to thank and I’ll get to that later.

Dear God, the journey to get here was enough in itself.
I can’t imagine what it was like for those on the bus, but in my little car it took me 45 minutes to climb the mountain from Canungra to the top of Lamington National Park. Incidentally, during the week, the local post lady, who is also the room service lady, told me her fastest climb up the mountain was 26 minutes!

The accommodation was amazing. Imagine climbing up through a lush sub-tropical rainforest to the top of a mountain 900 metres high and someone has built a summery ski-village style resort at the top of it. All the luxuriously appointed villas had amazing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. They even built an Infinity lap Pool at the edge of a cliff. In the rain, the pool isn’t much good, but when it’s clear and sunny it’s like gazing out on the edge of heaven.

Oh, and it’s a lot cooler up here. God bless the visitors who didn’t bring enough (or any!) warm clothes to warm sunny Queensland. Even on Queensland mountains does it get chilly (That’s why they had installed a gas fireplace in every villa!). I believe there was plenty of clothes sharing going on and I think everyone was able to rug up and be warm during the miserably wet days that ensued after check in.

So after all the mountain climbing to get here, the ordered check in process and finding out who our roommates were, we had the pleasant walk down from our Villa to the conference centre.
Realising along the way, of course, that a walk downhill meant a walk up hill. A very steep walk up hill. Perhaps several times a day if you don’t have a car and want to go back to your room.
Some people coped with the steep hill, some people didn’t. So, God bless the O’Reilly’s staff for driving us up and down the hill through their resort, either as arranged or as random acts of kindness.

Approximately 85 participants attended this LIG and we were led by the enduring Vincent DuPont. We were a nice mix of locals and visitors from interstate and overseas. And we were all very excited to be here. We were blessed to have John Morton and Michael Hayes with us, along with Alisha Hayes and Leigh Taylor Young. The staff at O’Reilly’s were accommodating and gracious to all our needs. And I think we, as a large herd, were flexible and patient with each other as we migrated around with umbrellas on bus transfers to and from dinner and our villas.

As the rain fell and LIG unraveled around me, I got an idea of what LIG was all about. It was a wholistic experience and I was given plenty of time and experiences to reflect on the differences of living under karma or living under grace. Because of this life, it is sometimes a challenge to live under grace, or gracefully. But as part of my journey towards Soul Transcendence it is something I will attune more and more towards. I am grateful for the new people I’ve met and friends I’ve made at LIG.

Whilst not everyone attended the Blessingsfest, that time was meaningful for both those inside and outside the sharing room. A special energy manifested during Blessingsfest that was felt across the land by those aware enough to pick it up. Certainly it became a sacred time for those doing s.e’s or those personally communing with the Christ energy at that time.

As Living In Grace concluded and the annual Australian conference took place, new people climbed the mountain to join us as others departed on their journey home.
