The Conference of the Mystical Traveler Initiates Meeting 2013 was opened by Louise Davidson of Australia singing a beautiful version of Amazing Grace, followed by a calling in of the Light. Phil Danza, of NOW Productions, then introduced vintage J-R videos. We then experienced a beautiful and personalized rendition of ‘Till There Was You, sung by Kate Sexton Blakeslee.

Phil then introduced John Morton, Spiritual Director of MSIA, who led us in SEs for a time. With over 1,200 initiates attending in person, it was quite an experience to sit in Spiritual Exercises and hold in peace. As a primary focus of MSIA is teaching Soul Transcendence, and the primary method of study within MSIA is Spiritual Exercises, I found it deeply moving to sit together in peace in this way, honoring God, honoring the dedication and service of more than 50 years and 25 years respectively of John-Roger and John Morton, and honoring ourselves and each other.
