In this bi-lingual seminar, John-Roger begins by explaining what MSIA is not, as well as some of the things we might be (might, because it would be an individual spiritual experience). In both cases, there is something applicable to everyone.

J-R explains, for example, “We’re not what you call a new-age group. We’re a new way of looking and thinking [about] the old things. So we go to the traditions, and we bring them up to today’s vocabulary.”

After reciting the familiar tenets of MSIA, he goes on to elaborate on the seminar’s theme.  “ Who’s going to lay out the reference points for that? You do that yourself. I don’t do that. If you’re one who prays, then pray for that discerning of Spirit, so you’ll know what is for you and what is not for you. “
