Loving More Each Day: Easter Eve Webcast with John Morton

John Morton and Easter Eve brought us together once more into the eternal loving of the Christ within. We gathered together in Santa Monica, California and online in South America, Africa, Australia, Europe and throughout the United States. Some of us viewed the webcast in groups, enjoying the loving company of family and friends. Others viewed by ourselves, in oneness with the Lord and everyone present within our hearts. It was a beautiful experience of how we all are one with the Christ wherever we are and whenever we choose to connect to that eternally loving, forgiving consciousness inside.

Leigh Taylor-Young Morton, our beloved emcee, welcomed everyone with sweet enthusiasm, recognizing and honoring all of us as fellow lovers of God. Leigh called us forward into the Light, and we chanted together Ani Hu in beautiful harmony around the world. We then enjoyed two profound, comforting Moments of Peace with John-Roger who reminded us that the Lord shines within each and every one of us. It’s up to us to choose back, into that knowing of the glory of the Lord’s ever-present loving.

John Morton then joined us with tender, grateful reflections on the wonderful PTS workshop, Invitation to the Christ Within, that had taken place over the weekend in Santa Monica and on-line. John reminded us that we are always invited to the Christ within, and that in accepting that invitation, we experience a celebration in our own consciousness. Regardless of our upbringing or religious education, we can experience the beauty and loving of the Christ consciousness because is it a universal consciousness of the goodness present in everyone.

John encouraged us to put aside feelings of unworthiness and choose to step up into the Christ. He reminded us of what John-Roger told us in the Moment of Peace: The Mystery, that anyone and everyone can be the next Christ. In each moment, we can choose into the unconditional loving and forgiveness that is the Christ consciousness, with ourselves as well as with others.

John encouraged us to choose to love more each day and do the most good we can. He reminded us to look for whatever is the most loving thing to do in any situation, even if we are faced with what we might consider to be our enemies. When we choose to love our enemies completely, then they are no longer our enemies. I heard John encourage us to love whatever we meet and commit ourselves to loving a difficult situation until we are complete with it such that we can let it go fully and with love.

Be the goodness of who we truly are, John reminded us, and see that goodness in others. He reassured us that although loving unconditionally is not necessarily easy, we all can do it. John reminded us that we are not what we do and not what we say. We are not what others say about us or what others do to us. We are not to condemn anything that happens in our world but to forgive and have compassion regardless. And to remember what John-Roger has told us that when we strive for perfection, it will be completed in the Christ.

I love John’s reminder that we always have the truest, most loyal friend within our loving hearts. The Christ’s loving is deeply personal, intimate and powerfully transformational. It’s our choice to experience that friendship more each day by loving more each day, ourselves and all of God’s beloved creation.
