4 Simple Ways to Start the New Year

Maybe you are letting go of the old and making space for the new. Maybe you are trying to get a greater positive focus for the New Year to come.

Here are some keys from John-Roger that you can try!

  • Completing:

You can free the locked energy of incompletions in this moment, by moving your body into action and starting the process of completing. As you start to do this, you will feel the energy coming loose and free inside of you, and you may find that all sorts of aches and pains will release.

This is a healing action, not necessarily healing in terms of disease, but certainly healing in terms of completing your life patterns and your goals. It’s so extremely important because as an area inside of you that was asleep awakens, your energy stops leaking away into it and becomes immediately available to you as a conscious, awake person.

intention

  • Intention:

ā€œThis is your life, so find an intention (an overriding purpose or goal) that you can live or die in, and then follow that.

It may take you some time and some Soul-searching, but it is worth it, because you are worth it. You will be dying in something at some time, so you might as well decide what it is and what is really worth your time and attention.ā€

programming the universal

  • The Power of Universal Mind Programming the Universal Mind

Write what you want in detail. Include the highest good of all concerned.

Focus on the positive; acknowledge and accept the present, focus on bringing it to a level you can handle. Include only your areas of concern. In other words, stay away from programming what other people will think, do, or feel.

Read it 100 times, clearly visualize what you want; get photos if possible and keep them where youā€™ll see them often.

John-Roger, D.S.S.

(From: The Power Within You, p. 32a)

take continual small steps

  • Take Continual Small Steps Towards What you Want

What do we all know about New Yearā€™s Resolutions? We break them. So rather than trying to make big changes all at once, take continual small steps towards what you want.

As an example that you can apply to anything in your life, say that you want to do Spiritual Exercises for an hour each day and you are doing s.e.ā€™s for a couple of minutes a few times a week.

You could try doing s.e.ā€™s for two minutes each day/ Do that for a month and then reevaluate.

Maybe you will decide to do s.e.ā€™sĀ  for five minutes a day for the next month, or maybe you will decide to continue with two minutes a day, but whatever you decide to do, do it. And if your goal is to do one hour of s.e.ā€™s per day and you increase it by five minutes a month, in one year, you will be manifesting your goal-one hour of s.e.;s per day.

As the old wisdom goes, itā€™s a cinch by the inch and a hard by the yard. It is called being persistent. Stubbornness and determination use the ego, while persistence utilizes spiritual energy. So, persistently take small steps towards your goals and intention.
