The Exclusive Preview Screening of The Wayshower was held as the Open Event to kick off the Annual MSIA Conference on Wednesday June 29th, 2011.

The Sheraton Grand Ballroom in Universal City was transformed into a theatre, with massive screen and surround sound.

Over 500 people attended, including co-directors John-Roger and Jsu Garcia, together with many cast and crew.

The new version of Wayshower is more accessible to the viewing audience. It is more engaging to experience Jsu facing his doubts and fears even without knowing any personal history. Because it is less ambiguous (and less cryptic, i.e. more practical), I find the teachings are more available both to people in MSIA and general audiences. I was truly swept away by the Wayshower. More than watching it I experienced it! I loved that it demonstrated the aligning of all the selves within our individuality. The acting was truly inspired. I love the sound (Sound Engineer from “The Matrix”), the energy, the mystery and the heart in the movie, The Wayshower. It’s one of those movies with lots of qualities that stir the imagination and the Soul. Flashbacks, searching for wholeness, spirituality and words of wisdom on finding oneself ….Then, there are the amazing actors that move me, nothing quite like Eric Roberts (what heart!), then Peter Stormare makes for a super monster-like representation of the torture of self-doubt. And Jsu Garcia, of course! Add classic Sally Kirkland, Dea Young, Leigh Taylor-Young, the young and really amazing Sebastian Barr, Todd Huntington, Nina Bergman, Evan Hart…many more.
