A Magical Picnic at Windermere Ranch

On a perfect Fall day in Santa Barbara under the protective canopy of the Oak trees, over 300 beautiful Souls gathered at Windermere, our place of peace. Both of our beloved Travelers, John-Roger and John Morton, were present. John Morton shared a profound seminar and Q&A. Their sweetness and open hearts were felt by all as we were enjoying being nurtured and cared for on all levels.
As they say, it ā€˜takes a villageā€™ and we were so grateful to the amazing team of focused and dedicated volunteers (30+) including the amazing staff at the Ranch, that stepped forward to create this incredible event for all to enjoy. We had delicious food and desserts from Woodyā€™s Barbeque and Debbieā€™s Delights. Valerie Ojeda and Eric Lumiere graced us with their moving songs and impressive voices. Paul Kaye invited us to adopt our new colt Parley and cultivate the quality of ā€œSoulā€ in IIWPā€™s Adopt-A-Horse program.

Adults and kids alike had fun interacting with the horses and ranch animals, taking tours with Dave Wright, face painting, bobbing for apples, climbing on rocks, enjoying rides on Clark Frankeā€™s motorized ā€˜muleā€™ and just taking in the beauty of the Ranch and each other.

The magic of the land, the wisdom and loving of the Travelers made it a day of immense blessings as hearts were filled with joy and peace.

Thank you John-Roger for giving us this place of peace at Windermere.
