Last night the Mystical Traveler, John-Roger, came to New York. His physical body did not make the trip yet he was with us in the most profound of ways. He did send Jsu Garcia and Paul Kaye physically, and because of this last minute change of plans, J-R and Jsu decided to hold the first 55 minute preview of the feature documentary they have been working on – Mystical Traveler: The Life & Times of John-Roger, and Paul led a stunning workshop for the Audio CD/Book “Way Out” book with folks over a stunning meal.

To see the life that John-Roger has lived, to see this cinematic glimpse into the being and the consciousness that he is and how it has evolved and grown, how his work has touched and inspired so many, and how the miracles, the magic, the sheer Spirit that has been brought forward through John-Roger and the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness … moved me into such overwhelming joy, gratitude, promise and enthusiasm. … moved me to such tears of Spirit move through me last night.

To be given this priceless opportunity, to experience John-Roger and his life in this multi-dimensional way through this documentary: brought me into such utter and undeniable recognition of who I am as a human being that is so profoundly blessed to be working with John-Roger in this lifetime. If I could remember every day, the acute and resounding awareness that I had while watching this movie … that the grace, loving, joy and support of the Mystical Traveler, of our beloved John-Roger … IS WITH US ALWAYS.

Thank you to Melba Alhonte and all the beautiful ministers in MSIA that made this phenomenal event happen last night.

Thank you Jsu Garcia. What you are doing with J-R and this movie is something that I can not put words on … I can just say I am so proud of you, your devotion, your diligence, your sheer determination to manifest this documentary so brilliantly … and I am SO excited for everyone to see this movie.

And I am SO PROFOUNDLY PROUD to be a disciple, a follower, a friend of YOU dear beloved John-Roger. Thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for your love. Thank you for my movement of spiritual inner awareness.

Sometimes NY city becomes a piece of heaven, sometimes through music, or through the magic in its streets and history and there at that moment and time you go beyond time and space and you will always remember that particular piece of heaven. Well last Friday night at a small street full of history PK brought forward his talents and spiritual energy through a very sweet and profound workshop, then Jesus Garcia gifted us with a preview of the the JR documentary. A true jewel. And there we were, the new yorkers, the filmmaker, the master facilitator all coming together to honor our beloved JR at that moment in time.
Unforgettable.

The New York MSIA community had a rollicking time this past Friday at a lovely soirée in honor of our beloved John-Roger. While partaking in a delicious meal served by an attentive staff at Stella, a cozy restaurant near the South Street Seaport, Jsu Garcia regaled us with a stand-up explanation of J-R’s inability to attend physically. Then Paul Kaye, with typical transparent honesty and humor, guided us through a simple yet perceptive exercise to more fully “anticipate joy.” The real dessert of the evening was a 55 minute premiere presentation of Jsu’s documentary about J-R, which was filled with a treasure trove of photos, interviews and clips depicting our Mystical Traveler’s early years. J-R may have been physically absent, but his presence enveloped us in a transcendent evening capped with his wonderful The Way Out Bookdistributed as a profound party favor.

New Yorkers came up to bat once again. With a spontaneous two day window, a fundraiser was put together. Forty six people came together at a lovely restaurant in the South Street Seaport to munch on calamari, cheeses, salad and entrees. Food was abundant and quite tasty. Jsu explained that JR was up to coming until the very last minute. Knowing this, folks came any way. Paul Kaye spoke about some personal events going on his life that were challenging and what “thread” he uses to get into balance. In our little groups, we munched and shared what each of us use. Some examples were: spiritual exercise, remembering to trust, asking what would JR do….
Jsu got up and announced that we would be the first group to preview his new film on the biography of JR. We all gathered in another room and watched the first 55 minutes. The only feedback that I heard was the film was excellent. The night ended at 10:30pm and we are commented on the predicted heavy rain and thunderstorms never happened!

I was touched in so many ways by the recent NYC MSIA Family Dinner Honoring Our Beloved John-Roger —
He wasn’t able to be with us on the physical, but I can assure you he was there in Spirit! Jsu welcomed us in his inimitable style and Paul led us through time and space to our inner thread in his usual brilliant fashion

We saw an hour of the divine new documentary, “The Wayshower” — I could have happily watched till morning!
From the specially-printed menu to the wait service to the fellowship to the shared sweets — I felt so cared for and loved — Whatta night!!
