Not One Soul Will Be Lost: A Reassuring & Inspiring Webcast with John Morton

Our August webcast began with our lovely hostess, Leigh Taylor-Young, reminding us that the title of our webcast, “Not One Soul Will be Lost,” is one of the three basic principles of MSIA identified by John-Roger, D.S.S., the Founder of MSIA.  The other two principles are “Out of God come all things” and “God loves all of Its creation.”  How simple and yet profound are these reassuring words for our lives as spiritual beings in this world!

Leigh shared that MSIA is dedicated to facilitating our learning the lessons of the physical and spiritual worlds. Our webcast with John Morton, D.S.S., Spiritual Director of MSIA, is just one of the many ways we can choose to learn more about ourselves as Souls who are one with God.  Through PTS, the educational arm of MSIA, we can participate in classes, workshops and seminars in small or large groups as well as through books, articles and various correspondence and online classes all based on the teachings of John-Roger, our beloved and divine wayshower.

As we do at the beginning of our MSIA and PTS gatherings, Leigh guided us through a gentle invocation known as “Calling in the Light.”  We then chanted Ani Hu which is an ancient name of God in combination with a quality of empathy that helps bring us together in our spiritual oneness.  Leigh mentioned a book, Manual on Using the Light, written in the early 1970’s and still delightfully useful for learning about calling forward the light of God in sweet, practical terms.  We then watched a Moment of Peace where John-Roger shared more profound and enlightening spiritual teachings about the Christ, the anointed and forgiving one who resides within us all.  Over 200 Moments of Peace are available where John-Roger and John Morton share the teachings of MSIA as well as place light around the world with fellow peacemakers.

Leigh then introduced John Morton, who facilitates seminars and workshops around the world for MSIA, PTS, Insight Seminars, and the Institute for Individual and World Peace.  John has been providing live on-line MSIA webcasts regularly since 2001.  John is also the author of two beautiful books on blessings and numerous inspiring articles on the many different aspects of practical spirituality.

John let us know with gratitude that he works closely with Julie Lurie, Debbie Roth, and the folks at Network of Wisdoms (NOW Productions) to create, promote and conduct these webcasts, including preparing the handouts with wonderful quotes and inspiring guided meditations from John-Roger.  John then shared with us that we always have a choice whether to move forward through grace or karma.  To move through grace, John suggested we do spiritual exercises regularly.  He also suggested we bring light to our disturbances, which we do in our willingness to be aligned more fully with our Soul’s purpose.  John shared John-Roger’s Fountain of Light meditation included in the handout, one that serves to bring our awareness more fully to the light that is always present as well as help us place our concerns in that healing, clearing light.  John then guided us through a comforting, reassuring meditation that helped us tune inwardly, gently and with openness to the ever-loving presence of God.

John took questions from participants in the Brentwood Room in Santa Monica as well as from viewers around the world who sent in their questions to be shared during the webcast.  In his responses, I heard John encourage us that when we are faced with challenging situations, especially conflicts and disagreements with others, to first send Light to the circumstances.  Place our concerns in God’s hands and allow Spirit to direct us as we seek understanding about how to traverse successfully through our difficulties.  I appreciated John’s reminder that wherever we go, regardless of our physical location at any given time, God is within each and every one of us always. We can always bring our awareness more fully to God’s presence, no matter where we happen to be.

John reminded us that God gives us only what we can handle.  So remember to choose wisely, knowing that God within us is far greater than what we often realize.  To feel closer to God, John noted that awareness is the key.  We can realize our oneness with God in each and every moment.  However, we all have room for greater realization of God’s presence through improvement in our spiritual practice.  We can always learn in greater and more beautiful ways how we are a Soul who is one with God.

John shared that one of the best ways to increase our spiritual awareness is by participating in experiences with someone who has greater spiritual awareness and serves as a wayshower for us.  We need to be open to the blessed guidance available as well as to engage purposefully in our spiritual practices.  I am grateful for all the ways MSIA and PTS provide opportunities for our spiritual learning, upliftment and growth.  I am especially grateful for our wayshower, John-Roger, and John Morton, whose enduring, loving presence throughout these broadcasts helps us all remember that God has never forgotten we are His beloveds.  We are God’s blessings, and what a profound blessing it is to know that not one Soul will be lost because God loves all of Its creation, and that includes each and every one of us always in all ways.
