The beautiful two story Barnes & Noble bookstore located just outside Chicago in Deerfield, IL played host to NY Times #1 Bestselling Author Dr. John-Roger (author of “Loving Each Day for Moms and Dads” and “Relationships”) and his best buddy and author of “The Blessings Already Are,” Dr. John Morton on October 11, 2001.

John-Roger (J-R) shared from his “Relationships” book that the only relationship is inside of you. It is a simple statement that is the premise of the book and was the focus of J-R’s talk of the evening. Following up J-R’s sharing, John Morton spoke of the blessings that already are.

Soon into the evening, John opened up the floor for the audience to voice their own blessings. He jokingly stated that he is a professional and so it is easy for him to do blessings. Then the audience shared their message of peace and awakening into the reality that we are Divine. It was wonderful to hear so many participating in the blessings, and asking for greater blessings in their own lives and in the lives of others.

After the sharing of blessings, John and J-R fielded the audience’s questions. One of the themes that a participant presented was that of children, which is close to both J-R and John’s hearts. John spoke about education, and how education needs to be a greater priority in our world for our children, and J-R spoke of how children teach us by demonstrating to us through the state of original innocence.

John closed the speaking part of the evening with one of his uplifting blessings, after which, both J-R and John finished the evening by signing the books of those present.
