It was another hot and muggy afternoon in beautiful seaside Santa Monica, but we were cool and serene in the Brentwood Ballroom in Santa Monica, California. (Hot is a relative term, of course, given that the 2101 Wilshire building is 21 blocks from the Pacific Ocean.) We were joined online by viewers and listeners from Canada, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Australia, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, France, Sweden, and all across the United States for a Seminar and Q&A with John Morton. The most populous location participating on the Internet was the Doctor of Spiritual Science class in New York City, where there were over 70 participants online. In Santa Monica, participants from the Master of Spiritual Science Year One class attended the event in the Brentwood Ballroom, along with many others who came in person to see and hear John Morton on this Saturday afternoon.

For a change of pace (and a treat), Kelly was our Mistress of Ceremonies for the event. Kelly welcomed everyone and described the teachings of MSIA as practical spirituality, and spoke to the many levels in which one can choose to participate. She welcomed first-timers to an MSIA event, and thanked MSIA for their sponsorship of the Internet broadcasts. Kelly then invoked the Light, and led us in the Ani-Hu chant
