I woke up this morning with great excitement about treating myself to the Spiritual Day Spa at Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens. What an absolutely beautiful day it is too. God is good. I made sure I put my fancy straw hat out as I knew I would be outside in this wonderful sun. Spring is here! I was also excited for a new friend who would be joining me today in this luxurious spiritual treat. We arrived at the gate of the magnificent mansion that is Prana in the West Adams Historical District.

We just made it in time to freshen up and get ourselves seated. There is a really nice group of close to 50 people gathering in what is called the Large Seminar Room for this event. While there are quite a few people, it felt very intimate and peaceful. We are greeted and welcomed by Peter and Pauli Sanderson facilitating today’s spa event. Peter starts by calling us into the Light of God, followed by our chanting Ani-Hu three times afterwards as a way of bringing us all into a oneness. We then hear from Carol Jones the Director of programs for Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens. After Carol’s announcements and welcome we move right into the first part of the program. Peter and Pauli begin by speaking to us about Light and the various colors, and how we can use them for our health and balance as taught by John-Roger, the founder of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA).

After the discussion and a brief exercise with colors, we listened to a wonderful audio tape by John-Roger called “Cathedral of the Soul.” I recommend this wonderful and relaxing guided meditation. After the meditation, we are guided by Peter and Pauli in a couple of grounding exercises. Next on the agenda — brunch!!

Oh boy! Man, look at that buffet! Everything tastes just as good as it looks. Blueberry pancakes, eggs, baby greens, turkey sausage, roasted potatoes, and more. We dine in the beautiful dining room that is not even a year old yet. Bright, sunny and plenty of room for everyone. The coffee bar is open for lots of wonderful tasty teas and coffees from Urth Caff
