Day 2 of the Walking in the Light workshop began at 9:00 a.m. John Morton gently walked us through the exercises we had learned so far in the workshop. And then we jumped right into learning new techniques for walking in the Light.

Alisha Hayes provided an upbeat, fun and uplifting Soul Dance interlude which really got the crowd and the energy going. Participants told me later how they still had the song and dance moving through them even after the Soul Dancing moment was complete. After lunch, John-Roger joined us for an afternoon of Q&A. We are just so blessed whenever J-R is with us. Words and a standing ovation just can’t express our overflowing gratitude for J-R’s loving service to us and John’s constant demonstration of the Traveler in each of us. We even had some of those moments of hilarity, when laughter rolls around the room in waves and we are cleansed with tears of joy.

John closed the workshop with two final exercises and we moved on to the celebration dinner portion of the day.

Dale Kitchell was our master of ceremonies for the evening and he handled his job like a pro. We were blessed by performances of music, dance, poetry reading and comedy. Every performer gave their all and the audience really shared their love and gratitude. David Sand’s slideshow reminds us that, in this case, “a picture is worth a thousand words.”
