MSIA travel staff are currently on the East Coast, providing MSIA Services (Innerphasings, Polarity Balances & Aura Balances) as well as MSIA events. Staff member, Angel Gibson, provides this update from the trip:

DAY 13 — Philadelphia

It’s a full docket today, but first time for breakfasting overlooking Penn’s Landing on the Delaware River in the historic part of Philadelphia. I love starting the day watching the sun glinting on the ripples of the water…it’s a moment of peace. Then we’re off and running to Services. Vincent and Roger head off to set up the audio/video at McShain Arts Center at Rosemont College. Services are being done at the home of Faith Rudisill and Peter Cadwallader’s home in Wynnewood. The drive to their home is gorgeous. The variety of greens in the trees, grasses, and bushes is amazing, so there’s a feeling of lushness interspersed with the pastels of flowering Dogwood, Cherry and Apple trees. On the grounds are the pinks and lavenders of the azalea bushes, and the yellow-golds of some forsythia. Yes, it is beautiful Spring here in Philadelphia. The air is a little heavier today as the rain clouds are gathering, by the afternoon the rains have started and by the end of the afternoon there is even thunder from time to time. It’s a soft rain as the air is warm. Betsy Washburne, the Philadelphia co-MSIA Rep who is coordinator for Services, is there to greet us. Betsy’s done an excellent job of lining up the Service schedule and handling smoothly all the Services logistics. She is our hostess for the day. Our day flies by and it’s time to go to the seminar.

We’re enjoying almost playing in the rain as we get in and out of the car. By the time we get to Rosemont college the rain is full out and we’re pretty drenched getting from the car to the auditorium–but it’s still fun. Once in the seminar room we were delightfully surprised to find out that this was the same space in which John-Roger gave a seminar back in the 1980’s, the same stage. The renovation is wonderful, very state-of the art room, except the stage was still the same and brought back memories to me of J-R and that evening. John Morton arrives and we’re right away into the program. Marilyn Bullock, who co-reps with Betsy, is the coordinator for the seminar. She and her many assistants, including her best support and husband, George, have been on hand throughout the day to support Vincent and Roger in preparing the space for the seminar. Linnie and Lou Tenaglia are our MC’s for the evening and they create a warm, family atmosphere for our closed MSIA seminar. Leah and Andrew Cohen, Linda Marucci and Sally Weaver contribute their heartfelt talents to create a loving space for the Traveler to be with us. By the time John takes the stage the sweetness in the room is tangible and we are an easy touch to lift up with the Traveler. John blesses us at the end, placing a tender capstone on his time with us. Many hands make light work as the pack up is completed and we head back to our hotel. What a lovely day!

DAY 14 — Philadelphia

Oh, it’s a beautiful day! The air is clear and fresh. The sun is shining, and we have Services to do and then a feast is being prepared as part of the fundraiser Q&A that will be happening this afternoon at Tom and Barbara Knight-Meyer’s home. In between, John attends the Philadelphia Ministers meeting at the Merion Friends Hall. By the time we get to Tom and Barbara’s, the kitchen under the guidance of Tony Guiliani and Michelle Benjamin is underway. I get to stir the soup for awhile but my K.P. time is cut short when the Tenaglias, Sally Weaver, and LaLa Zeitlyn arrive after the Ministers meeting to take over. Tom and Barbara’s home is a most beautiful setting for this event. To me their home is like a French country house with many rooms to wander through and outdoor terraces to lounge in and take in the beautiful nature displayed in their back yard. Periodically we are showered with small leaves that float down from the trees like little helicopter wings. Matthew Munts, our youngest guest and participant, throws the football with me, coaching me on how to do spirals. He’s got good hands and seems to catch practically everything I send out to him. We visit with the participants sipping on special fruit juices, coffee and a yummy vegetable soup.

Elizabeth Frumin is the coordinator of this event and calls us into the Light, thanking all of our participants and John for gifting us and MSIA with all the gracious support and donations. Dinner is spread before us in a luscious buffet of beef fillet, piquantly flavored salmon, vegetables, salad, and for dessert, home baked poundcake with fresh wipped cream, berries and hand-made truffles. The tastes, the setting, the company are rich and only the beginning, for the main course is the Q&A with John. Each question and answer is a special jewel this evening. I find myself having my own inner questions being answered as I listen and do soung log. John continues nonstop for a little over 5 hours, still radiant as he finishes with a blessing. The pack up is quick work and we’re back at the hotel before midnight. Good thing, for Roger and John fly to Los Angeles in the morning needing to depart the hotel before 5am. Blessings and Light to both of them. And heartfelt thanks to John who has held and given forth almost nonstop since he joined the trip in New York.

DAY 15 — Philadelphia

We sleep in a little bit today for Services don’t start til 11am. Our day is peaceful and quick as we finish up with our Services in Philadelphia. We thank Betsy for her wonderful support, and Faith and Peter for making their home so available to us and the community. Back at the hotel we take our time packing our suitcases and preparing to depart Philadelphia for Washington, D.C. tomorrow morning. It’s a quiet night with a little room service and catching up on emails…and a little TV for some R & R. Thanks to all of our MSIA family in the Philadelphia community who came forward to take care of us and John. There are so many big and little things you do that we appreciate. Our Light and love to each of you!
