Day 1

After arriving from the airport, we enjoyed my favorite — tea, scones, and clotted cream — at the Carlton Tower Hotel in London. John-Roger and the Spiritual Warriors group gathered around in the beautiful dining room in the hotel lobby. Since our rooms weren’t ready, we had a very nice fellowship, for several hours, actually. We then went to sleep early, to prepare for Day 2.

Day 2

We started out with a full bus of participants — 33 people. Nic Brown and I decided to not ride on the bus as there wasn’t enough room. The bus took off to Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club in East Sussex. Nic and I walked back to the hotel looking for a way to meet up with the bus at Ashdown. Coincidentally — thanks to Spirit — Nic Brown’s driver was in the lobby at the concierge desk. We asked if he could drive us, and he agreed, but he would have to cancel his 3pm pick up. Away we went to the Ashdown Park Hotel.

We arrived an hour before the bus because the bus got lost. Finally the bus arrived. Sam Wigan and his kids, Jake and Zach, met us there. We were told that Ashdown Park Hotel was originally a convent in the 1930s. We all strolled through the spacious estate into a room where we had clotted cream, scones and tea. It was splendid and beautiful and filled with a spiritual energy of fellowship and brotherhood. After we had our fill of tea and the rest, we all loaded onto the bus. I moved J-R off the bus and into the car, and the bus drove behind the car. We took the lead.

40 minutes into the ride, the bus gets a flat tire on the left side. That meant the bus had one less tire on the left side, and so the bus was actually going slower. Long story short, the bus breaks down eventually. The 33 bus riders then had to ride in a double-decker red bus. We ended up joyfully singing and laughing, and shocking people with our joy on this magical mystical tour bus ride (like in the film by the Beatles and in the movie Austin Powers). We rode through shady parts of London, singing and telling jokes and passing flyers to the Spiritual Warriors screenings. It was a sight to behold. The local passengers couldn’t help but become infused with our group’s love and our way of not focusing on the negative (flat tire), but focusing on the higher road — sharing the Light wherever we go, shady or not, regardless of race, creed, circumstance, situation or environment.

We then transferred to another double-decker bus, shocking both bus conductors when Nic Brown ordered consecutive tickets for 33 people. We also found out that the Tube (subway) was shut down. We finally were dropped off at Piccadilly Circus where many of us walked back to the hotel and some took cabs. We finally all safely returned to the hotel, and prepared to get ready for Day 3.

Day 3

Another adventure. This time Nic and I worked hard to make sure we got a big bus, with plenty of tires, for our excursion to Amberley Castle in West Sussex. A beautiful castle dating back to the 10th or 11th century — a castle that was built to protect that area from the invading William the Conqueror. The Castle has a typical moat and castle gate. We were lead up a long entrance into a courtyard and then into a dining room filled with knights’ armor and swords. We could definitely feel the ghosts of the past as we drank our tea together. This castle had many flowers and grassy areas and lots of cattle surrounding it. In the middle of the castle was the Saint George flag, waving.

Time passed, the sun began to set, and it was time for us to return to London. These places bring a sense of the mystical and mythical when you experience them up close. Physically, with your eyes, you can see the magic of another time, another land, another place. There are private groups that are buying up castles and convents and creating hotels and restaurants and making them available for tourists and adventurers.

We safely returned to the hotel, no flat tire, no problems. After a few bathroom breaks, we barely arrived in time for our Spiritual Warriors screening at 8.30pm. It was pretty crowded at the Prince Charles Cinema. The cinema employees, including Romano, were very happy to see us since we had had a good experience with each other in September of 2007 when Spiritual Warriors premiered here. They knew the plan, they knew the game. Nathalie Franks and Sam Wigan were our Spiritual Warriors holding strong. At the end of the show, we had our Q&A session once again, which brought forward questions from inquisitive minds and allowed us once more to have J-R in the audience supporting us. Light and love emanated at the Prince Charles Cinema.

Day 4

The Lanesborough Hotel. How can you come to London and not go to the Lanesborough Hotel and feel like you’re somebody important? Once again I made it a mission to eat all the clotted cream in London and I think I’ve succeeded.

Sam Wigan and Nathalie Franks led this fundraiser for MSIA old-timers at the Lanesborough. Participants sat at tables with John Morton and with J-R, sharing with one another, exchanging seats, and, to me, it felt like one big Seminar that also included tea, scones and clotted cream and an ambience of opulence.

We then once again headed towards the cinema and prepared for the second screening of Spiritual Warriors at the Prince Charles Cinema. Having plenty of time to get there, we were all relaxed and ready to go.

After everyone entered the cinema and the movie started, Sam Wigan, Zoe and I, Adam and Gregory and others proceeded to give away the rest of the Spiritual Warrior books — about 150 books. We realized how much people enjoy receiving a free book. We then had our usual group dinner after the movie, and then headed back to the hotel to prepare ourselves for Day 5.

Day 5

This day started out with a double-decker-red-bus tour around London with 37 participants. We had a wonderful tour guide named Phil who gave us in-depth information and historical facts about the historical events that have occurred in London. We learned that, in the old city of London, the exits and entrances were guarded by statues of dragons. We learned that Big Ben is the bell inside the tower and not the actual tower. We saw sites including: The Beatle’s Abbey Road studios, an area where John Lennon lived, and Trafalgar Square where Napoleon’s naval fleet was defeated. We finished the tour and then we were brought back to the hotel where we prepared for John Morton’s Q&A event.

We noticed that a lot of the participants at John’s Seminar came from the screenings of Spiritual Warriors. They wanted more after the movie, and they came for the energy, which was very powerful at the Q&A. And, of course, Dr. John-Roger was there, which really added to the magnificence. In total about 150 people came. The evening started with a booksigning for John’s new book — Spiritual Warriors. And then, Ed Wagner introduced J-R and me to a Princess of Saudi Arabia and it was a beautiful moment. We also gave her a DVD copy of the movie Spiritual Warriors.

In closing, the Spiritual Warriors European tour was a wonderful experience, it was a joyful learning experience and it was, in my opinion, spiritual — it was filled with fellowship and brotherhood and loving. A caravan of initiates and ministers sharing their love and Light. And most of all, J-R led the group and was with us throughout. And I pray and ask the Lord that J-R continues to be with us on the physical as he is in the spiritual. God bless him and his health. God bless us.
