When we look to our Soul and begin to connect to who we really are, often we find a place where creativity is a natural response to living. Creativity in art, of all sorts, permeates throughout the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA) community and often reaches out into the world, bursting with messages of peace, loving and our individual journeys on our path to Soul awareness.

Spiritual Warriors, the film recently released by Jsu Garcia and Dr. John-Roger , is a shining example of self expression, heartfelt messages and a touch of the cosmic! Often spiritually inspired creativity is laden with profound insights and food for contemplation, Spiritual Warriors is no exception, sharing the teachings of self empowerment, outer sacrifice and the willingness to serve in a sometimes unreceptive world.

The ‘creative’ premiere release of Spiritual Warriors in Australia was at the recent Living In Grace retreat, a training filled with creativity from the very beginning. It seemed we were all coming together with a common goal, our hearts were opening and the love and art was overflowing. The richness of the heartfelt art at the retreat was present in: the colorful gift wrapping and specialty seeding cards the Products Team prepared; the food so lovingly prepared to our specific diets; the crazy dance moves Cleora Daily, one of our facilitators, was teaching the participants; the overflow of beautiful entertainment from songs, comedy, poetry and dance — thoroughly moving and intimate in a somewhat candlelit event, as the power went down that night. And to add to it — the visual art of Spiritual Warriors!

The presentation of Spiritual Warriors was done in 4 episodes, like an intriguing mini series. We silently visited the training room after dinner each night to experience the words of wisdom, flashes of gold and purple light, and the mystery of faraway places. It was quite interesting having these images playing during Living In Grace, one of the pinnacle trainings in MSIA. As we all were reaching inwards and upwards, deeper and deeper each day, having the outer reflections of images in the Spiritual Warriors movie — of third eyes peeling open in gold light and battles with darkness — it was hard to tell what was real and what was fiction!

To me creativity is a precious place where we are not limited by words and time — it reaches out past ourselves and meets others in the place were it originated within us. What a gift when that place is our highest and deepest sincere expression of loving and peace.
